Also, I noticed Jellal opened his eyes to talk to Midnight, but they were bloodied. That sort of thing can happen, right...?

What bugs me most is the way they just pull things out of nowhere. His super Archive being able to transfer the key seems a bit of an asspull. Jellal inviting the OS was predictable but not something im pleased with. Elfman and the bomb is irritating but mainly how nobody hasn't noticed the bomb. @Chidori I do agree with you cana will stop it how idk |

Besides, how could anyone notice a bomb if Elfman, I dunno, hid it from everyone?

I really enjoyed this chapter, for one second I really thought that jellal was dead, and I found cool that OS formed part of CS, The only thing I didn't like was the thing with the key and the machine, even thought I'm glad that he died. And with the bomb, I'm sure Cana will do something about.

Beyond that, last chapter Crawford was frantically telling Franmalth to shut up as though he was in the middle of something, and the chapter ends with him telling Franmalth he's done better than find Jellal. The impression we're left with last chapter is he has the news that Jellal's dead. But that wouldn't require frantically telling Franmalth to shut up, and this chapter was named The Third Seal, and opened with Jellal turning out not dead before Crawford gets a chance to give his good news. So it should be quite logical that when the chapter finally switches to Crawford that he has different news about the third seal than "Jellal's dead." As for no one noticing the bomb, why would they? Elfman went off to "rest", which the rest of the guild would not question or be likely to interrupt given the circumstances. So he just goes someplace private and places the Lacrima. There's no reason to believe people should detect the lacrima itself. It's made to store magic, not uselessly leak it. |

Awesome chapter. For someone smart, the chairman should have seen this coming...as for Jellal, this was by far his best fight to date The only question left unanswered is, would he have won against Jura had he used that magic back in the games? At least he's finally getting some guildies...
Anyway, looking forward to the next chapter! |

Yeah I don't often complain about the way Hiro does things, and it was kinda inevitable for the chairman to receive some kind of karmic retribution, but he could've handled the 3rd key a little better. He wanted Jellal to be a key-holder to make him special, he wanted face to be released and he also wanted Jellal to survive. The solution tied everything together but it was a little too convenient, almost to the point of contrived.

Also, getting rid of council members creates instability. I'm sure that they did this to be cruel. |

Also people are being kind of hard on Crawford. Just because he's working with demons doesn't mean that the demons are a bunch of backstabbers that'll kill him at a moments notice. He seemed to have a good working relationship with them, he has no reason to think he's of no further use to them beyond finding the councilors and Jellal, and they're nice enough to actually take prisoners which suggests they aren't all that trigger happy on the murdering people they might have a use for. Plus, it's not like what he suggested was unreasonable. It'd probably take them half an hour tops to get one of the prisoners up there, transfer the key, and kill them. It's not like Tartaros is on some time sensitive schedule either. The only upside to killing him now is that they don't have to deal with him between now and the point at which they actually set off Face. |
