I'm reasonably sure there was a story where a girl and a boy had the baby from the boy. I'm also reasonably sure it was crack, rather than just odd. But I'm going to stop now because I'm

I am more than open to suggestions on how to proceed. I don't really want to get way carried off with nothing but crack afterall.

This is a post-apocalyptic world after it has ended. Nothing is born and nothing dies anymore, even time is of no relevance. If I were searching for a place to be born, it’d logically not be here, yet here I am.
There exists a person in such a world… could see me? At any rate, I am not born of this world…
As for the girl, she would be the only one that lives in solitude in this desolate world, a girl in this vacant, unmoving world. For some reason, she interests me.



“Nakajima and Lanster aren’t here yet? “
A little chitchat on the present status of the two junior officers can be easily overheard across the hallway.
“What’re they thinking? By this point, they got to get through those certification exams and then worry about career prospects after being commissioned!”
“Forget about them! We don’t have the time to worry about others, do we?”
A somehow unfettered Teana enters the very part of the Infinity library study hall where this discussion is taking place, having heard very clearly what was being said of her.
One of these chitchatting ‘housewife wannabe’ gave a grimace on his face to the others as Teana proceeds to take a seat. This is when a blue-haired woman walks up to her.
“Um… well, Miss Lanster.”
This yields a rather prompt response from Teana. “O. What is it, Sein?”
“You came in late today too.”
Teana is aware of this and she gave the ultimate rebuttal in the form of “so?”
Sein continues. “Um, I think you really should be come along to the study sessions on-time every day…”
Teana decides to toy with Sein just a little. “So a number talks like an adjutant to the supervisor,eh?”
This sends Sein’s eyes to wobble somewhat. “It’s n… not just ‘like’, I am an understudy in the infinity library with assistant duties!”
A female voice comes out from the side… “Hey Lanster, don’t make the adjutant cry! Her sis is gonna come running in here at this rate!”
“I’m fine! I am not in tears!” This is apparently only somewhat reassuring despite that Sein has not shed anything from those watery eyes. Teana then begins to realize the gravity of the situation.
“Fine. Let’s just say it’ll depend on tomorrow’s workload.”
Sein stuttered a little in her response. “Th-Then… I’ll read your fortune for tomorrow, since fortune-telling is kind of fun.”
Sein proceeds to take out a stack of poker cards from a coat pocket and begins to shuffle’em, but she slips and the cards are sent scattered about on the ground.
“Jeezes…” Teana bends down, but is call to attention by Sein.
“Miss Lanster, you’ll be late tomorrow.”
Teana goes into a freefall onto the ground upon hearing this announcement then she shouts back with “are you ridiculing me?!”
“That’s how the cards come out! I think this is how this sort of fortune-telling works.”
Sein answers with a few bewildered onlookers staring at the two of them.
“Think you say..?”
Sein completes her case. “On the way to tomorrow’s review, you’ll have a romantic meeting with somebody possessing a kind heart, forget about how much time has passed and therefore be late.”
“That’s rather detailed…” Teana seems visibly surprised, prompting yet another near-immediate response from Sein. “A… a maiden’s inspiration.”
Sein is interrupted however, when a threat is declared within the hall.
“Oy! Teana Lanster!”
A tablet computer is hurled at projectile speed at Teana, which is dodged by a quick squat on Teana’s part. The shockwave sends books flying and flutters the uniform of Sein. This tablet lands itself over a distant rack after missing its intended target. That's the telltale sign of IS Aerial Cannon being fired.
“Wendi!” Sein turns to the assailant. Teana also does the same. “Crap…”

Wendi proceeds to waltz her way into the action. “You’ve got some nerve to pick on my sister. You loser!”
Teana finds her necktie being grabbed by the irritated Wendi.
“I was only talking to her!” Says Teana, desperately want out of harm’s way.
“Yea! Wendi, she wasn’t picking on me or anything.”
This remark is greeted with a skeptical look on the face of Wendi. She backs off while slowly letting go of Teana’s necktie.
“Then that’s fine.” After that scuffle, Wendi notices the cards scattered all over the area.
“So you had Sein read your fortune?”
Teana confesses. “Yeah. Apparently, I’m going to have a romantic meeting with some kind person tomorrow.”
This is too scandalous for Wendi to resist jumping on. She shows a grin on her face.
“What’s with that grin…?”
”NOTHING. Well good luck!”
Teana finds her shoulder being slapped by Wendi and only then to witness Wendi giving this bizarre laugh as she walks out of the room while walking in exaggerated large steps, leaving both Teana and Sein in confused bewilderment behind.

Sein as Ryou and Wendi as Kyou? *tilts head* Wouldn't it be better to use Otto for Ryou and Deed for Kyou? That way you keep the whole identical twins thing and keep the Kyou ending open, which with Sein and Wendi would be pretty hard as these two hardly look alike at all.

@Keroko: True that, but those two don't nearly have the same mix of personality required... that's the issue here! I mean Otto and Deed are Taciturn duo and you can't have someone that vastly outstrips Teana's current standing for those characters... well, it can be problematic if this is going to be the visual novel retelling given that the twin issue is much more pronounced there.

EDIT1: Tomoyo, Fuuko and Kotomi... one problem compounding on another ><

(Well admittedly, given the overall attitude in Nanoha threads, there can be more visible debate with how that it's not a complete genderbend due to the debate of 'ideal path' getting interesting. Even "by my only sunohara forever" will be a kinda want at least...)

Hmmm, but Sein and Wendi aren't really in their roles either as Ryou and Kyou...

Anyway, that aside for the moment, will this take a spin of its own in the later chapters or will this stick to being a re-telling of the novel/anime?
