Damn she's hot! No wonder why it looks like Miria has a "following" in the streets in the image. So Miria is so hot that she's even being stalked in the images she's in, let alone by the huge Miria fan base. .

Oh wow, now that's an artist who is clearly on Loivissa's level. I sincerely hope our darling "Goddess of Claymore fanart" comes back sometime, but alas, I've heard nothing. I would love to see the results if this artist ever had a fun contest or collaboration with the better claymore fanartists out there. It's simply a stunning image.

huh? I found it? dunno bout that, how come? I can tell you it is a Witchblade pic though. They did change protagonists later in the story, and the blade changed wielders from Pezinni to some youngish blonde girl ... seems to be her ... also, there's the "paphernalia" in the window: There's a drawing of the blade in gauntlet form, the stone seems to show some egyptian god, Seth? dunno how that fits but the blade goes back to ancient times ... there were some flashback chaps to prior times with some russian spy if memory serves right, hence the Sovjiet hat ...and I guess the helmet has the french lily on it so that goes to Joan of Arc as a prior wieder of the blade in that particular story ... guess her dress might be a remniscience of some pirate witchblade story part?!? ...

anyways, I don't care, she looks miriaesque enough for me and the posture and facial expression are rly nice, not to mention the art itself is very nicely done

edit: The character from the Witchblade Comics in the pic is called Danielle Baptiste Might be of help if somebody rly wants to try find out who the artist of that great artwork is

also...the shopwindow ... some old asian dude's antiquesstore also features in the witchblade series. Both the previous wielder Sarah Pezinni and this young woman Danielle come there from time to time to get some info in what exactly it is they have on their wrist, cause the old guy seems to know much about it. Inicdentally, the scene where the young woman stumble's across that shop, and then after glancing at the window on a whim decides to enter it leads to a series of events that makes her the next wielder. So the pic is not only nice in terms of skill and style, but now that I remember stuff after looking it up a bit... the artist also chose to depict a very nice "moment" from the story, fits the mood of the scene very nice I guess. rly like the pic more and more

Then find me something better than the images Loivissa made that I linked to on my sig. She remains the gold standard in my eyes until proven otherwise.

Well, the fact that her black and white miria has remained my desktop for some time now despite me usually changing it quite often tells you sth about how much I appreciate her work... but why have standards anyway? there#s so much cool clay artwork out there ... why rank it?

I'm sorry you guys, for the trouble that you guys went as far as the not being able to view the pic was concerned. And as always thanks to @haegar for giving us the info on the pic. She does resemble a striking similarity to Miria in that now doesn't she. It was just a pic that I found after restoring my comp. Did not remember when I downloaded it, but as always I also went back and did a little investigation of my own and I can conform that it is infect a pic from witchblade. And there is a new movie of it out in 2009.
