Book 1: 剣と学院と火猫少女 The sword, the academy and the hell cat girl. Book 2: ロスト クイーン The Lost Queen Book 3: 風の誓約 The Vow of the Wind Book 4: 精霊剣舞祭 The Blade Dance a.k.a the blade dance festival held every three years. Book 5: 魔王殺しの聖剣 Demon Slayer (more literally, "the holy sword that slayed the daemon king", but the author has indicated in furigana that it should be read as "Demon Slayer") Book 6: 追憶の闇精霊 The Dark Spirit in the recollections @PCheshire Yes, it is clear that unless Kamito regain his lost skills, he is no match for the fake Ren. As for the question of ranking the people and the spirits, Est and Restia are a level above others. A lot of other type of spirits will appear, like military spirits or dragons, so I don't think it is particularly meaningful to rank them. Which is better? apple or pear? Hell cat or ice wolf?

Head desk continuously as I edit the early chapters. I just don't see how ".....っ、 う、嘘っ!あ、赤なんてはいてないわっ、 白よ、白!”
is translated into "......The, The f*ck, It’s not red, It’s White, White!" F-word for high class girls? For Japanese? What the hell??? How anyone read this thing is a wonder: "and, still teasing her more....true summer came for the poor." "I have seen your naked body while bathing, then your breast.... which I badly touched as well. But I will not move. Please believe me" "In a natural manner, fixing her gaze in his groin, the article on it is not some female thing that can contract a spirit, in a glance that’s the genuine thing in his hip." No, I am not making these up. Why? Why?

...sorry, jut noticed that post. Very sorry.
Can you clarify that first question? I kinda don't really understand. I don't think that we can easily classify the girls. It has been shown that Rinslet is like Claire's rival, that Ellis is pretty good, that Fianna fights not often, etc. But ranking it...I think I'll go over the novels and pay more attention. In Volume 6 Kamito pointed out each other's strength and weakness. It might help. Look in the sidebar and you'll find the project.

That's my personal opinion.
From the most crucial one to the extreme: 1. Understand English (No shit) -------------------- 1.5: Be able to fix wiki codes and such (not necessary) -------------------- 2. Be able to find out typos 3. Be able to fix punctuation 4. Be able to fix words spelling and grammar 5. Be able to find words that suit the context better ------------------------ Following isn't necessary either: 6. Be able to type/search basic (translated from) language in a dictionary + correct the words mistakes. (Preferably Japanese) 7. Be able to understand the Japanese grammar and words. When you reach 7, become a translator instead.
