I am still screwing up at Node J about 2 times out of 10... The Ri flagship or the CL flagships tend to taiha/chuuha my ships... While at boss node, if my supports don't hit well enough or the boss' planes aren't shot down, it will lead to my fleet getting wrecked...

Nah, didn't have much trouble with that node. I made the boss node 42/52 times, the ten retreats were five at I and five at J. The 11 times I failed to S-rank it were all because of (incredibly) bad targeting, either by mine or by the boss.

At least now it is better than yesterday... Other than a few retreats from J or M, 2 out of 3 times I got S rank.

Spoiler for pics:
And with that, comes a full circle. By beating all of it on Hard,i think, that's it for me.Any further than this level of difficulty may already be out of my reach. After everything that started from last year and me stressing out to get strong enough to get to this point,i think maybe it's time for me to do something i want to do in the game for a change.

Nah, it's not that. It's more like my DDs not wanting to clear out the PTs leading to them being alive for the torpedo phase and the boss targeting my CA(V)s with all four of her shots. Aside from one occasion where I had three shots going against the boss instead of the lone remaining transport I didn't have issues of my CA(V)s not targeting the boss. They won't do much damage during day anyway, so it's not like I want them to hit the boss during day and for night combat I have them in my last two slots so they are a near-lock to bring their night shots against her.

Focusing on the final kill on E-3, but holy heck, does RNG do a number on you or what? So far I've had consecutive reds on node K, it's ridiculous. During the gauge reduction, it never did that.
Also I've found so far that having more than a single BB hime alive during yasen at the boss node is just asking for trouble, as the cut-in attackers will just LOVE aiming at the BB hime again. Sheesh. P.S. Is E-2 a better bet for Okinami farming? If so just use the Rei-Go fleet for it, or is there something more efficient?

As for the fleet, I started off with (lined up in that order) Kiyoshimo (1x 12.7cm B 4*, 1x 10cm HA+AAFD 4*, Type 22 Kai 4) Asashimo (2x 10cm HA+AAFD 4*, Type 22 Kai 4) Kasumi (2x 10cm HA+AAFD 8*, Type 13 Kai) Abukuma (2x OTO 4*, Ko-hyoteki) Tone (2x 20.3cm No2 6*, Zuiun 12, Sanshiki) Ashigara (2x 20.3cm No3 6*, Night Scout, Sanshiki) After those screw-ups yesterday I swapped out Abukuma and went with my clearing fleet that included Ōyodo (20.3cm No2 6*, 15.2cm Kai 6*, Night Scout, WG42). And of course boss support.

Also: it seems that it's the season's RNG festival for me again. I think I need a break for a bit, as I need it else I'd punch a hole through my monitor, after three straight runs with minimum-damage AP cut-ins (seriously Yamato, a ONE) and/or NO ONE triggering any abilities for yasen at the Boss node. Ugh.
Also yeah, if it hasn't been noticeable already, the fleet composition at the boss node for Hard/Last Dance is basically requires your girls to wipe out most of Cruiser hime's escorts, or else you can kiss that kill goodbye. Unless you get particularly lucky targetting that is. EDIT: Whoops, spoke too soon. Event cleared! Now for some expeditions, then farming for Okinami at E-2 or Umikaze at E-1.

The nico comments automated voiced reading s actually one of the worst features that Nico implemented in the last months. It's very annoying. That said I wonder if that Nishimura Kantai fanboy tried to take it on with his Nishimura Fleet too.

Time for final dance of E3 Hard, should I be subbing Haruna in the support fleet with another torp cruiser? My current support fleet of Abukuma - Yukikaze - Hatsushimo - Haruna - Ooi - KTKM with all torp cut-in loadout except with Haruna with AP round might not cut it for final kill, granted I only managed to try once tonight...
My main fleet is going 2 CVL, 3 BB, 1 BBV (I only have 3 BBs, no Yamato) |

You mean Escort fleet right? Support fleet is the one used to assist your main fleet with shelling/aerial/torpedo strikes right after the initial air strike.
You would rather want a high FP FBB in the escort fleet, so use Bismarck Drei (assuming you have her) or Kirishima or Roma. Replacing the BB by another CLT is not exactly a good idea because they are quite fragile and they don't pack enough punch during day battle, which might give worse odds prior night battle. If you really don't have enough BB (not even the 4 kongou altogether?), use a CA like Prinz Eugen or Myoukou Kai ni. Replace Hatsushimo by another more effective DD like Yuudashi, Ayanami or Shigure (preferably one of the latter two if you aim for cut in setup). Just a request, be it for JokerD or anyone else: when you ask for composition advicee, for goodness sake please add your roster and if possible your equipment loadout. Giving fleet composition is pretty moot without an actual grasp of the fleet at hand.

What lineup for E-2 and what route is recommended?
(Trying to chase after a foreign ship in E-3 so yeah) Also... I got myself a 16 inch, a Type 1 shell and a 35.6 triple prototype.... (+4, +2 and +2 accuracy...) will the accuracy still be okay?

As for your second question, it depends on who you are using. If it's the Kongōs, drop the 16inch one. The best gun for them is the 38cm Kai of Bisko followed by their own 35.6cm (because they can be improved they are superior to the prototype).
