The five original volumes are complete. There are 3 gaiden out with a 4th on the way (if it's not out by now already).

Why even though it was hit three times in the chest and once on the back of the neck it is still fine? Didn't just one rocked blow up his limb last time?Was it cause it hit at the joint (armpit or whatever it is called in english)where there are less scales for mobility related problems?

There's already a translation script, but anyways, in their panic all the dark elves forgot to pull out the tip.

The extendable tip is supposed to give the optimal distance for the shape charge against armor, up to 800mm of steel. Retracted it's used for light armor, bunkers, brick and concrete.

Sigh, those dark elves were supposed to be trained somewhat right? Or did they send in doe-eyed youths hoping to make a name for themselves? They were outright panicking, hardly how warriors are supposed to act.

And spoiler: Major battle scene going coming within the next chapter or two.

Possibly they are doe-eyed. Thing is, the dark elves bear the brunt of continous dragonic harrassment. Their warriors must be expended in the first few clashes, leading to the desperate attempt to send a female out to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to bring back help.

But people tend to blame the victim for going to where bandits are known to live.
