well saying it that way, one could could spin as that she is in danger the longer she is in love with sasuke maybe like dying in child birth or putting her in situations that could kill her, but yeah kishi probably saying she's slightly yandere

nevermind the whole genetic idea with the eye problems, there's still several points that run contrary to sakura still being the mother.

also red herrings arent only done in the manga, its possible the authors tweets are the red herring.

For one, why would she have to be so agitated and uncertain about the glasses question? She could easily just say no, or at least say that he didn't back when he was around. The fact she's bumbling makes it look like she's hiding something. And you can't use the excuse of hiding sasuke's acts, answering something about appearances isn't gonna tell her that sasuke was a criminal.

Next, sakura pasting her image over karin. Why not just cut out sasuke and make individual frames for her and him, then just place them together side by side rather than forcing some couple picture. Or heck, just don't bother the merging and just place out the images for what they are. Sakura could just say then that those were sasuke's friends and just lament how sarada looks like karin. It's the fact that she's posting herself over karin is telling of something, and I doubt that it shows sakura is confident in their relationship.

Let's play a little game of pretend and assume Sarada is Karin's.. If Sarada is Karin's, why on earth would Karin consent to being parted from her daughter considering how.....intense....she is about Sasuke? Why would Sakura consent to being a single mother raising the daughter of the man she loves who was born from another woman and is a constant reminder of how Sakura can't have the man she wants? How would any of that make sense? The would paint Sakura in the most pitiful of lights possible, clinging to the table scraps of a man by raising a daughter of his that isn't even hers. It's baffling how people can consider this.

answers karin died in childbirth or is dead from some other way and sakura is a really good person. its not that hard to believe when you think about it, but i do believe this whole plot line is just kishi trolling, but yeah

On a more serious note, the Uchiha family is just sad and Sarada is the new Naruto..even with her mom around, she has no identity (doesn't get the whole Uchiha prodigy thing and Sakura's clan is a clan of nobodies) while every other child has friends either based on old friendships (the eternal ino-shika-chou) or just hang out with their dads.

EDIT: By the way did anyone notice how Azuma's son is completely left out of this, even though he could probably relate to Sarada, what with them both being without a father?

Wouldn't Asuma's kid be at least 5 years older than Sarada (unless Sasuke and Sakura started pushing out kids before they were even 18)? It'd be kind of creepy if he was hanging out with a 12-13 year old girl that he has no relation too...

err...Azuma's kid was a girl. Sarutobi Mirai was shown in Chapter 700 and is already a full fledged ninja of at least chuunin level.

Maybe after the war, the Tenbi was revived somehow and Karin was chosen as its host. Then right after she gave birth to Salada a masked man appeared and took the Tenbi from her. To pursue his revenge, Sasuke went on a quest to find the culprit and left the newly born Salada to Sakura.
