Yakitate! Japan Vol 1 (VIZ) - read Zombie Powder Vol 1 (VIZ) - read Ouran Host Club Vol 6 (VIZ) - reading BLEACH Vol 14 (VIZ) - reading Non-manga/anime: The Dark Tower VI - Song of Susannah -- Steven King Poker and Philosophy - Pocket Rockets and Philosopher Kings -- Eric Bronson (ed.) |

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. It was kind of boring, just like a soap opera. The Picture of Dorian Gray, by Oscar Wilde, on the other hand was quite something.. and a tad disturbing if I may add. Imagining the picture's visuals as the story progressed was amusing.
Although I have read it before, I just may pick up 1984 again this weekend, one of my favourites. |

Ghost Walker by Erik Scott de Bie, I loved this book, there was just something that caught my eye..I dont know wether it was because the hero was a ghost dude, or the fact that the cover looked cool. I'm not really a big fan of Forgotten Realms though.

Abduction - By Robin Cook. Finished in three nights. (PC is down atm )
Nice easy read. Scientists/Divers abducted by an ancient civilisation of “Primary Humans” who have been around a lot longer than the Human race as we know it. Basically a paradise under the ocean, however, things go wrong, the group want out; unfortunately the “Terreterians” are not willing to let them go. Good story, though a very tried and trusted basis, not very risky. Voyage to the centre of the earth, 20,000 leagues under sea -esque. Would recommend to anyone. |

Beyond the Deep - about the 1994 caving expedition to Sistema Huautla in Mexico, the deepest cave system in the Americas. Borrowed it because of the reference to Huautla in one of the middle episodes of Yakitate!! Japan.
Quite an interesting read about one man's determined attempt to lead an expedition to "scoop some booty" in a place where literally no man has gone before. |

I just finished reading Maximum Ride by James Patterson and i have to say it was one of my favorite books i've ever read. it took me about three days to read but that's only because i was reading manga as well. but other than that i've also read Velocity by Dean Koontz but that was about three weeks ago...also i'm going to get the next instalment to the Maximum Ride series asap.

Im reading a lot of Haruki Murakami atm.
I've eaten: Dance Dance Dance, Sputnik Sweetheart & Kafka on the Shore. Murakami's style, while not exactly similar, carriess the same kind of linguistic acrobatics that Kafka's works did as well as an integrated beatnik poetry approach to handling metaphysical issues in an everyday context. He offers the reader no closure or explanation at the end of the novels merely just an offering that everything worked out ok but what transpired isn't 100% tangible. Waitin for my girlfriend to finish the Wind Up Bird Chronicles, looks awesome. This guy is a must read for all of those who...well.....read.

I assume these don't have to be all anime mangas....
Series: Rereading Wheel of Times series (that's right, all 13 books) Dune series Symphony of Ages (Rhapsody, Prophecy, Destiny, Requiem for the Sun, and Elegy for a Lost Star) Finishing up the New Jedi Order Full Metal Alchemist manga 1 and 2 (just started) Non-fantasy books/Political (i.e. for school): The Sound and the Fury Savage Inequalities (Jonathan Kozol) Two Nations (Hacker) Nickel and Dimed Other crap I don't care about Other: I guess writing books qualifies as reading them as well....
