Something tells me this is either going to be REALLY good or REALLY bad, if both Crunchy and Sentai want (and got) it. Either way, it's definitely piqued my interest now (though I was already quite curious).

I was actually surprised that CR announced this so early due to them seeming to wait until the last minute the last few seasons to announce series. Anyway I am really exited about this.

I am hoping for REALLY good.

I guess the main worry by fans of the LN is how well the adapt it.

By the way, this might have been answered before, but was there ever a reason why the anime was delayed so long?

True, Bodacious Space Pirates does seem less likely to give potential viewers the wrong idea. Still Moretsu Pirates is probably for the best.

I think i like the title 'Bodacious Space Pirates' because it has the word 'Bodacious' in it. Dude!

The trailer looked entertaining enough, but I'm reserving judgment until I've seen some.
It could be good, or it could be crap, but if it's crap, it could be entertainingly crap and thus still fun to watch.

yea prefer Bodacious Space Pirates myself, fact it's got "Bodacious" is grat but then theres also "Space Pirate" which is better than simply Pirate

Still looking forward to this, looks like it might be good but if not then "entertaining crap" I will most likely find it

The hopes are indeed very high on this one. Not often -- in fact -- very rare for me to pay attention to a series - before it even comes out. Usually, I allow a series to have been broadcast by several episodes before I give it any attention.

"Bodacious" is way too bombastic of a word to use as a title though.

I just went to Japanese wikipedia and it turns out, Hyadain wrote the OP song. So not only is Martin Friedman involve in this song but Hyadain as well.

On her planet, under 16 is not allowed to drink alchohol, but Ririka allowed it as it was a "special occasion". And what's with Kane smiling to Marika in the anime?
