It's not really that hard to figure out. Japanese television uses the extended 24h clock all the time.

Post count is not the only factor (HotD has 5000, but no subforum). Usually, they pick shows without fanservice and adult themes (be it ero or not). As for Madoka, might get lucky, if she plays safe for the first couple of episodes; and then chaos can commence (a la Narutaru ... I hope)

A quick note to remind everyone that discussion about whether or not this title would get a sub-forum is off-topic and any more instances will be deleted on sight.

There are a lot of statistics that are involved in whether or not a sub-forum is granted, and imho, this thread doesn't even reach the lowest level of them. (only 500 posts? Get real!)

Well, it looks like Nanoha (and the original Pretty Cure) won't be dethroned as the best magical girl, if there's no chance for yuri...

pffft Original Pretty Cure please...
Doremi is one of the best....if anything heartcatch beat the original. Any rate yuri pairing is all up to fans in magical girl shows anyway.

Not even 30 seconds in and I'm convinced that Urobuchi will definitely make this show grimdark as hell. Dream or premonition, that's one hell of a start.

Madoka and Homura are attacked by monsters in a world similar to the one from Black Rock Shooter.

This is pretty much Nanoha-tier right off the bat.

Watch the first episode and even though I had very high expectations, I haven't been disappointed to the slightest.
Very classic premise but this show has this "little something" that makes it incredibly enjoyable. Maybe the association of Kajiura's inimitable musical composition and Shaft style? It could have turn to be terrible but I think those two unique "styles" merged perfectly.
An easy 10/10 for this 1st episode and definitely watching the rest of the serie through this season!

Best monsters ever!

Soundtrack was as wonderful as expected. As for the story itself, it's very classic so far. However, it's clear this show has a lot of potential.
