What did I tell you guys? It was seems much more even then what people were guessing, I really don't see why everyone put so much of a disadvantage on the Edoras counter-parts, their magic is different, not necessarily weaker. Semi-more oriented to using magic as technology and a power source really, gives them options to do things Earth-land can't, like with Edoras Natsu's car etc.

It feels like Mashima's compulsiveness to quickly finish the stuff he starts isn't going away.

This seems something after like at least 30 or so more chapters, with more character revelations on Edoras's side, Edoras's FT intervention, and stuff like that. The slow chapters on Happy and Exceed really felt like they were going to keep the 'extremely tense weak characters against powerful army' thing at bay, while throwing a two-sided conflict of Exceed vs Royal Army. And yeah, pills. Asspull aside, why didn't Mystogan give Lucy some? And if he could've done something like that to begin with, why so morbid about Fairy Tail's doomed fate and only intended to save Wendy alone?

Shouldn't had expected much from Mashima.

PILLS?!!! so convenient.. (but I still love Fairy Tail!)

Not that impressed with Erza vs Erza fight. More interested in Gazille and Mystogun.

BTW, I didn't expect that giant larchryma in the plaza to be JUST Erza and Gray. Good twist there!

just wanted to ask... are we going to see him in his dragonforce later in this arc? and can he control it now? or is it impossible since he might need to consume the aetherion or the flame of rebuke to activate it?

Also, it seems the king's plans for the lacryma is to literally use it as a nuke. How unoriginal.... I'm calling it now...the climax of this Arc will have either Natsu or Mystogun single-handedly stop the Lacryma from crashing with his bare hands. Slayerx Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005	I actually didn't like this chapter too much... namely i didn't like some of the reveals Spoiler: First, had Natsu and Wendy just waited like 5 minutes, not only would they have been able to go with Lucy and Gazzille, but they would have also gotten the pills they needed so that they wouldn't be without magic, and possibly even learn how to save there friends Second, the pills themselves really through all those theories about Natsu and wendy not being able to use magic right out the window... Also it feels a bit like an asspull seeing as Lucy did not mention it third, I really liked Lucy's plan for figuring out how to save their friends. It was clever and a good use of Lucy's new abilities. I would have atleast perfered they try to go through the plan, get close and fail rather than not even getting a chance to do it at all and just having Gazzille save everyone...

Spoiler for 180: Nice to see that there is a lance version of the Ten Commandments Sword. Explosion, Mel Force, and Silfarion, wow that takes me back. I wonder if we are going to be treated to Sacrifar. Also like that Gazelle is getting some time to shine in the coming chapters and that it was him that let out Erza and Grey.

KrimzonStriker Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2008	Spoiler for My thoughts: I'm just guessing so bear with me, but given how he wanted to save Wendy I imagine he thought she would have been sucked up by Anima as well and didn't know\wasn't aware of their immunity. I mean, he probably wasn't expecting Lucy to have survived either, so I imagine Mystogan is just thinking on the fly at the moment on how to try and fix the situation now that new opportunities have presented themselves... hmm, maybe that was the reason he wanted to save Wendy first, as a way to reverse the Lachrimya prior to using Gazille instead, now that I think about it. As for why he didn't give Lucy any pills for her to use... well its likely he didn't KNOW Natsu and Wendy had already left or survived probably, that and she wouldn't have been able to use them without Gazille to free the others anyway. Just my conjecture but it makes logical sense if I think about it from his point of view Now one thing I did like about the twist with Fausts plan was the benificial part on how to gain unlimited magic, at least its multi-faceted. Global saturation FTW! Also, nice tribute to Rave Master there during the Erza fight, makes me nostalgic __________________ "That is why we must embrace carnage.
