The "go off with x" bug is a well-known bug. Basically, the game only records the first character you started a romance with and ignores any after that.

I have the pc version as well, and have had no problems clicking to attack, I mean, it works perfectly for me, no lag. Mind you, I'm also playing with a touchpad.

Try hard mode and go to the part where you have to rescue the Qunari diplomats. There are so many archers that Aveline will be the last one standing after 2 minutes into combat.

Well I knew the game was buggy, but not THIS buggy. Hopefully this doesn't screw up Merril's quests in the long run.

Do not go into Act III with Merrill's friendship maxed. It will totally bork her personal quest. Supposedly this will be fixed in the 1.02 patch but I have no idea when Bioware is going to release it.

If you need to get some easy rivalry points in act II, go destroy Tahrone's evil tomes with Merrill in the party. She'll get 10 rivalry points per tome destroyed, and it can help prevent her quest flags from bugging out in act III.

Finished it few hours ago, and I'm still in that ''the hell...'' mood. Was expecting something throughout the game only to never happen. It felt to me like a half of the game is missing. Flemeth was just a guest character, and I was expecting big involvement from her.

The game was good, loved how the mage class was presented, it was badass. While watered-down at some important things which made DA:O so great, I still enjoyed it. Which I can't say the same for the ending. Seriously, I hate when I get myself into 40+ hours game only to get half-minute ending with not knowing what became of who.

What's with the recycled dungeons? BioWare, that was insulting!

Yeah, it was more of the opposite for me. Doesn't speak well of the main character for the game if the only thing I'm looking for over half the time is references to my Origins character.

Good game and everything, but final verdict is that I'll give it two more playthroughs, one being a two-handed warrior since I've heard really good things about it and one being my perfected playthrough, to import to DA3 whenever that's released (please don't let it be 2012 or 13).

There are more bugs liek that. I am supposed to save a gouverners daughter int he Wounded Coast, had walked all over the map and realized they were little top of the entrance. The bandit leader popped up but he didn't do anything, no cutscene and he's unselectable. He just stands there and nothing I do engages the quest.

I couldn't get all my companions to join me though. Sebastion leaves the group if you don't kill anders and I couldn't get fenris to stay when I sided with the mage I think it's because my influence with him was too low. In the end Varric says I go off with Isabella (even though I fell in love with Merrill and had her move in with me, my character has sex with both of them and I kiss Anders...) and it's mentioned that I disappear similar to the warden where it's implied that the similarities between the two incidents can't be a coincidence. I personally think this was done on purpose this allows that if Dragon Age 2 isn't popular that they can bring back your warden character and maybe have Hawke as a companion in a sequel overall I beat the game in a little over 26 hours including all the side quests except for I couldn't destroy all those mage books and I couldn't find all the quanari swords.

I didn't like the whole "Back to the ball and chains then" comment either. I wasn't even that mean to Alistair in origins :/
