It's unfortunate that Sayoko's brother, the Monster Agent Lucky Thoroughbred, has a rather flat character. Really uninspiring and cliche'd. I thought Flying BUnny was as annoying as hell, BUT, she does have at least something going with her escaping at the last minute and not bothering to extensively fight Coco. Is it because she can't? (That knife-in-a-carrot-thing was really cheesy, but Coco's got some rather powerful arrows )
However, I wonder about this Child Dragon person. Is he the Monster Agent Leader or something? He seems to be interesting, a more easygoing kind of guy with a personality?

Another thing. What the hell was going on when Lucky THoroughbred was talking to Child Dragon? There were lots of mirrors... and once there was a skeleton in them... and then there was a baseball and "sumimasen!" from somewhere as if a small kid (there was a small kid o_O) hit the window with the baseball. Ararara.... Is it another one of those abstract surreal things like all the Elan Vitals honking when Bocca does his silly shooting arrow sequence?

Ah, well it seems Toune can cheer up if she wants to too. Though, why did Coco and Toune put down their weapons first? I suppose they decided it would be the more rational action which wouldn't require them to kill humans, either...
It's clear cut this time that Toune and Coco seem to be more mature than Bocca, well at least to me (first impressions only though, I'll have to watch the Chinese subbed version and then the English subbed version...). Bocca still seemed impulsive at times... But Toune and Coco can also feel for his pain when he is kicked around.

It again seemed so obvious that Sayoko would get the horseshoe thing out after her sudden burst of "faith" to her brother. It's good that she actually did something for once. And it's really, really nice to see Elan Vital finally fly. It still doesn't seem as agile as Skyblue and Hikari, but heck, it's good enough~~

Bocca and Sayoko take a heck of a long time looking at each other though :<
I kind of would have preferred it if Bocca had any interest in the other Melos Senshi, but oh well.

I also don't know what the hell is up with Sayoko's tone of voice for the next episode preview. She sounds like she's breaking up with Bocca. "Breaking up". It sounds like such a mainstream romance. Oh, for cripes sake it is. :\

I don't know why I didn't notice this before but it's a very fitting thing for Elan Vital to begin flying in this arc. You would have noticed the whole horse thing going on; the derbies, Shuuma (Lucky Thoroughbred's real name), horseshoe, etc. It's obviously very fitting for someone like him to possess a machine that disables Aiba-machines that are designed after horses (Unicorn, Pegasus etc.) and that Elan Vital would learn to fly. Unlike what we were all thinking, that Elan Vital would fly after Medusa was killed.

So whoever it was who wished the show wouldn't completely completely follow the Greek Legends, well I hope you are pleased

in the sub I watched, Bocca's is Crash, Toune's is Straight Crash Shoot, and Coco's is Go Heart...

Ep18 Tokyo Station

ep18... more and more fanservices! I think ep18~20 will be about the relationship between Sayoko and Bokka... I'm guessing three happenings :
- Sayoko will become Bokka's
1) serious girlfriend/lover or whatever (ally)
2) they break up, sayoko goes to home (where she lived after Kurofune rescued her)
3) Sayoko will become an enemy of Bokka

I think (Tokyo) 'Station' symbolizes a place where people wander around... (mentally, physically, emotionally...)

people sleep in station like they have no where to go, and ride trains over and over, just circle same place again and again... (I guessed before I watch, but I think MoO is using 'station' to symbolize that)

Just watched the raw for this episode. This show is shaping up nicely with a bit more focus on Bocca and Sayoko's relationship resulting in some hot shower action between both of them

The real temptation is actually the preview of episode 19 with Solo popping up in the preview. Plus... Coco making a move on Sky Blue, Tohne's Aiba machine!

It's going to be 8 weeks of heightened anticipation to the end of this series and I'm loving every bit of it

BloodElite = who is an elite, and has power because of family (ex: if my parents are elites and I grew up as an elite and has power because of family's power, I'm a blood elite)

PowerElite = who became an elite with his own effort (ex: people in low-rank(non-elite) can work hard and become a powerelite)

- Blood Elite : can Success w/o effort, since (s)he grows up in an elite family
- Power Elite : Success by hard working

I find it very interesting, as someone else pointed out earlier, that Toune could have been a Monster Agent because she had the whole rich family privileged child kind of background like Keiko, but it was Miri who chose that path (the episode title "Sude ni Erabareta Tooi Michi", I think, reflects it too.) Shows the exceptions to that common stereotype that rich people generally want to continu being rich... It's not like your average oppressed citizen is all that great either...

I really wish Bocca would hurry up and get a new attack...

Oh, and so far I think the pacing of the arcs is quite good. 3 arcs seems enough for most arcs so far.... though I still think all that

Bocca-Sayoko <3ness is jumping quite rapidly.

I suppose they couldn't spare any extra episodes to show daily life, about how much time has passed... It would counter what's going on pretty well. For all that you energetically fight and defend, at the end of the day you still have to sleep, you still have to find somewhere to eat...

I still don't get apples either. Unless that whole apple-banana thing was a sexual reference ;x

edit: btw, I think Child Dragon's the best-looking Agent so far.

I don't know who's the most nice-looking in the anime yet. Is it the cool though somewhat short Solo? The incredibly droolable SkyBlue? (Aaaaah so cuuuute) The very... very sexy-when-resounding-melos Toune? The really cute Coco? The unique-hairstyle-ed Bocca? The kinky-outfit-ed Sayoko? Or maybe it's the Melody of Oblivion with the giant thighs (reminds me of myself~). Then again it might be Hikari, Cron or Nic, members of Centauro... Maybe it's the macho really-big-muscled Kurofune.
(I wonder if anyone fell for Tsunagi-jii-san)

Well, Bocca's sense of duty as a Melos warrior is preventing him from taking the relationship further which Sayoko wanted. She saw the mark, which is how Melos warriors are chosen, as the hindrance to a relationship she now wanted with Bocca.

First is Toune by far for me (I want to be in Skyblue's position), second is Medusa (Toune is the onee-san type, so there bounds to be a loli for the balance), then Solo (and he has the best singing voice... or the only one?)

Bocca? He's another Rei Ayanami clone for me (At least the character design... sort of... )
