How many of these anime (and some game) songs do you recognise?

My friend linked me this yesterday from Nico Nico Douga. I suppose some people might have already seen it, but for those who didn't and have an hour to spare, it's pretty cool. I reup'd it onto Google so that those who don't have a Nico account won't have to sign-up/borrow one.

Meh, I suck. I don't have time to go all 55 minutes, so I went through 2 minutes and could only recognize Yu Yu Hakusho, Myself ; Yourself, Nabari no Ou, and Inukami! OPs. There was also an Air ED, a show which I have watched, but I didn't recognize it so I fail.

Well, it doesn't help that I skip over most EDs and some OPs that I don't like.

I counted 121, though it should be 120 +/- 5. 120/525, I guess I'm only around 1/5 a true otaku, I'll work harder then.

I recognise some songs not knowing they are anime songs and knew some songs without watching/playing their anime/games.

Hm, I went 3.30 in, and I recognize relatively little:

Code Geass, Hayate no Gotoku, Air, ARIA, Myself;Yourself, Bamboo Blade, Lucky Star, Chrno Crusade, Welcome to the NHK, GTO, One piece, and I distinctly recall a Blood+ OP being in there, (but only 'cause I heard it on Stepmania)

I do not understand, the little screen lists the name of each song as well as the anime it is a part of...that being said, in the short time I ran the video, I recognized very little mostly due to the fact that I commonly do not watch OP or ED (unless they have stellar animation or the song is actually good).

I recognised 223 songs, more or less the number I thought I would end up with.

I didn't expect to enjoy it a much as I did, but it turned out to be a fun way to spend 55 minutes.

might #153 have to do something with the mai otome series? and which one is 182? its sounds catchy.

In Anime North, there's a section called "Anime name that tune". And God, I sucked so bad, because while I recognize the tune, I can't pinpoint it to a particular singer/series/song title. So yeah, recognition is one thing, actually bringing up where it came from is another.

Anyways, I recognized 216 out of the 525 songs, or around 41% of it. What's really sad is, I could've scored up to around 50 more if I actually understood which series/artist it came from. A lot of the songs it seems I have heard it, but I couldn't distinguish if its because I actually recognize the song or I'm hearing something similar to it. By the time my brain is racking up an answer, times up and the next song is up.

Yeah, I'm gonna go hide my otaku-ism in a corner now....

17/30 (best streak ever, since a lot of the songs were from new shows)

50/100 (or so I remember, before I actually was writing this down)

?/200 (forgot to write down in the 200 mark. I believe it was still close to 50% at that time)

126/300 (God, lots of I think game songs, or real old anime songs judging by how they sound. My worst part yet)

165/400 (a bit better this time around)

216/525 (really improved in the last stretch, as a lot of the songs seems to be from post year 2000 era, which was the time I got crazy about anime)

I'm not too hot about anime songs coming from series which I don't watch. Exceptions are Gundam Wing's Just Communication and 1st OP and ED of One Piece.

I can recognize a lot of songs, but I really have a problem pointing out which series they belong to in the little time they give you. Except for the few ones which are of favorite series of mine, I can't really shout the name of the anime instantly.
