There was no next ep preview.

No confirmation, but some 2chan comments implied that the ED was the full dance version.

Though they couldn't use the original previews because the numbers would be off (so to speak) because Kyon always overwrote Haruhi's numbering pattern.

They could have used the DVD previews if they wanted. They're most likely just trying to keep suspense up, but I would expect Melcancholy II next week. The season as a whole will hopefully be in chronological order with new stories interspersed through the summer and then Disappearance and other winter stories at the end. But who knows what they'll actually do, other than try to keep us all guessing.

I don't believe there's a preview for episode 11 Haruhi order since it was the first episode aired and the first episode on the DVDs. But, I don't think it would have been particularly difficult to make one. They would just pull clips from the episode and they are already working with the Haruhi voice case for Haruhi-chan.

True, but it wouldn't be next week's episode anyway so they must have some other reason for not showing the preview this week.
