[Manga]Who will become the next Hokage

umm i can't say i'd have my money on naruto he can't quite controle the demon fox when it takes over he can only usualy when his emotions take over plus all he does is spam Rasengan and Shadow clone so far.
Kakashi would make the best hokage in my opinion cause he has leadership abilities and could easily protect the village but he wouldn't accept the position as an obvious answer.

mmm i'd like to say Shikimaru Nara as the Hokage as well he has great leadership capabilities and he knows tons of tactics and when he's lost. Sure he may be lazy but he's the leader second of my opinion behind Kakashi.

The answer can only be two people, naruto or danzo

Naruto

- Strength wise he is the strongest nin konoha has
- He has matured a lot over the last Few arcs, through the death of loved ones and his new found sense of peace
- He embodies "the will of fire" more than any of the remaining candidates
- He wants the job, which has to count for something
- Also Tsunade is still alive which gives him a greater chance seeing as he won't have to become hokage right now... with time and further experience he is a shoe in

Danzo

- This one is obvious, he can take advantaged of konoha's dire situation, through a coup or maybe even rallying the remaining citizen's to take up his hard nosed militaristic views of running the village... maybe even use naruto as the scapegoat for what has happened
- If Tsunade loses the job or dies in the near future he is definitely a possibility
- But I can't see this angry old man being hokage... or I dont want to

i strongly believe it should be kakashi. yes, naruto has matured, but was it enough? the entire village would fall on his hands. im not saying i dont like naruto... im only saying he should train and prepare more.

about kakashi. i think he is still alive. i know he "talked" to sakumo hatake, his father "the white fang", but it could just be some weird image as he is dying. the key word there is dying. I belive Tsunade's medical ninjutsu (or if she dies maybe sakura's) could definitely bring him back.

Kakashi will be a possibility if the 6th is named in the not to distant future.. If tsunade continues her tenure for any prolonged period, I can't see how kakashi could compete with naruto.. more time that passes, the more experience he gains and possibly an even greater gap in combat ability.. there is only really one aspect of kakashi skill set as a hokage which far surpasses the current naruto and that is his vast skill as a leader, due to his experience in high lvl'd mission's, along with being an anbu captain/jounin squad leader (team 7/team kakashi etc)... more or less kakashi is proven in his capability as a decision maker and naruto well isnt

For me it will be sakura.

Because she is like tsunade plus the fact that sakura is a strong character i think she does possess the power and skill to be the 6th hokage of konoha.

@to all that say naruto is the 6th for me for e he will not be the 6th because when naruto transforms into a kyuubi naruto's life's span is lessen so the more he use it the more he'll die in a younger age so i think he wouldn't be able to be a hokage.

but whoever will be the 6th hokage we all have to wait ^_^ until they finally named it.

You cant just slap the title of "Hokage" on anyone, it's an honor thats earned through a lifetime of hard work and dicipline, you cant just let anyone be a Hokage. Naruto will most likely achieve this goal when he is a lot older, either him or Kakashi, in my opinion, anyone else wouldn't work.

Right, Naruto fails at his young age now, but he has made leaps and bounds since he was 12 and he has a long way to go. Hokage is like the ultimate level, it's an honor that not everyone should be able to achieve and when Naruto gets older he will become more and more mature and will eventually lead a squad of his own and become an elite Ninja, much like kakashi. Keep in mind that Nauto will not always fail, eventually he is bound to grow up and become a man, with becoming a man comes responsibility and maturity and he will learn all of this eventually. To think that he will always fail is nieve.

Hmm....Naruto will probably make it as 6th, Tsunade is getting old and will soon pass on the title, with most of the Shinobi dead.

Naruto is supposed to bring a revolution to the ninja world so maybe there wont be a 6th Hokage but a new peaceful system led by Naruto. Idk a thought.

By the looks of it, it seems that Danzou might step up and try to take the position. So there's a chance that he will become the 6th hokage, and Naruto the 7th, or Naruto will defeat him and claim the Rokudaime title first. =\ It could go either way.

Hokage´s or Kage´s are the most powerful ninja´s in there respected villages. So its possible if Naruto would surpass the 5th hokage and become more powerful than she is then, he might be granted the position of Hokage.
