http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-tJZOwWPoE (by the way anybody know the name of the soundtrack for the first half of that video? At least from what I could gather, the artist is someone called "Gypsy Girl" EDIT: Never mind; it's "Tatta Hitotsu no Omoi") Last edited by Sailor Enlil; 2009-09-03 at 07:49. |

I don't like very many fighting games, but BlazBlue is one of the few exceptions I've played. Have it for my PS3.
I just find the command inputs for the game much easier than most others. Also the characters are quite unique in each of their fighting styles allowing for much diversity. My favorite character would have to probably be Nu, for a number of reasons... First of all she's practiclly a robot, and I love robots. Second is her yandere personality whenever she's around Ragna. x) All-in-all it's an awesome game.~

Being a big Guilty Gear fan (though a rather horrible player), it was only a matter of time before I had to get this. I finally scraped together some money to buy myself a Playstation 3, and I'll be getting it this week; having ordered Blazblue in advance.
I'm from Europe, though, so I was interested in how viable online play is with people in other parts of the world. Is the lag unbearable, or does it largely depend on the quality of my internet connection? I've seen that a few of the other posters here are also from different parts of Europe, so I'd be very thankful if someone would be willing to share their experiences.

I believe it depends on the quality of the internet connection.
Personally my DSL can only allow me to have decent connection rates with my own country and parts of Asia including Japan. But MakubeX3 who's from the same country as me, had great connection rates with all parts of the world.

Thanks a lot for the response to both C.A. and Shiroth.
I hope it'll turn out alright, since online play is one of the big draws for me. In addition to the story of course; can't wait to start digging into that. Just from my initial impressions (having only tried the game a couple of times), I'm torn between Ragna, Nu, Tager and Noel. Hopefully I'll be able to narrow the selection down after I've completed the storyline.

Prepare for the most Honorable, Hotblooded battle of Love and Justice that ever took place.
This match was a ranked match online from two complete strangers. But they were true honorable warriors of Love and Justice.I immediately made Bang my secondary after watching this.

I still find it absolutely crazy that the opponents were complete strangers, but at the same time that fact is what makes this fight so amazing. Truly, those with as much manliness as these two are already connected to some psychological manliness network that's far beyond normal human understanding.

First the magazine scans: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showp...&postcount=139 The game itself is around 70% done, releasing in arcades as an update. There will be 2 new characters, Tsubaki confirmed as seen in the scans. Fans speculate that Terumi will be the other character. Tsubaki is described as a multi hit easy combo melee character that's great for beginners. All stages are remade, all characters given new skills and changes. In the magazine, Ragna, Jin, Litchi, Arakune, Carl and Rachel's new attacks were shown. Ragna's a air to ground diving attack, Jin is an ice slash, Litchi has some pole dance kick, Arakune has a new bug, Carl has a range attack and Rachel a new Distortion Drive with a giant Gii. The game's interface seems to have changed and may still not be finalised, because all the character specific gauges are not displayed. Tager is no longer GIGANTIC, which may be a good thing as he will have a smaller hit box.
