OHAIYOOOOO

Its me again. Back and the like.

This time, I'm looking for an anime where the girl saves the guys life, or something of the sort, and the guy gets involved in their work and wants to protect the girl. Normally this is fantasy and romance anime. I'm not good at explaining what I like so here are some animes to clarify

Bleach - Rukia saves his life, etc. Ichigo wants to rescue Rukia who's in trouble with Soul Society.

Busou Renkin - Guy dies (forgot his name -_-) and is "saved" or brought back to life by the girl. He becomes involved in the world of alchemy and wants to become strong enough to protect Tokiko.

Shakugan No Shana - Self explanitory :P

Fate Stay Night - Again, pretty straightforward what I'm looking for.

So looking for those kind things. As usual romance is a big theme with me.

Mai-HiMe is somewhat close. But not exactly. Looking for the GUY to be protecting the girl.

I've seen a few episodes of sola, but it doesn't seem like the guy gets the power to fight anytime soon.+-

Ah, I've seen the first series been meaning to check Fumoffu and TSR. But its a very good example to add to my list, thank you very much.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Eureka Seven. If you're lucky, you should be able to catch some replays on Adult Swim and Adult Swim online videos.

As you can see, it's of the mecha genre. Renton does get involved in the lifestyle of the Gekkostate (a group of glorified sky pirates and rebels). Eureka (pronounced el-recka for some reason), basically starts out as your typical "emotionless girl" type. It's what you could call sci-fi/fantasy in its genre.

Guy meets girl. Guy and girl have adventures together. Guy vows to protect girl. That's what you're looking for, right?

Gatekeepers This what you're looking for!! It fits the genre!

Perhaps you could try Erementar Gerad - it is pretty close to the thing you want to see. Fantasy/romance/adventure

Actually, isn't *Shana* protecting Yuji? And Yuji initially helps her fight because he realizes *he* is a danger to those he cares for due to all the Guze and Rinne coming after him?

I'll suggest Tsukihime; Shiki protects the weakened Arcueid, at first as some sort of honor debt

I'm still waiting on Zero no Tsukaima Second Season DX I'm praying on it.

Looks like Claymore is taking a direction into this genre as well. Its getting intense.
