Despite that, the thousand year old, Socialist Jewish Atheist senator who nobody knew about took 44% of the vote and 22/50 states, nearly beating the juggernaut in Hillary Rhodam Clinton

Now it's time to take Bernie Sanders' accomplishments and run them to the endzone. It's time to take back the democratic party from corporations and make them represent the actual voters again. I know not what political activists you know, or if you are one yourself, but if you really believe in a progressive policy, then spread this message as much as you can. As Martin Luther King Jr said, "the arc of history is long, but it bends toward justice"

It's time for the Justice Democrats to take over

This isn't the time for a purity-test. Dem are too marginalized at the moment to almost point of irrevlancy in the goverment at this point for that. If there is any hope for Dems to start making gains again especially with the 50 states strategy spliting through internal infighting while fascists nutjob is in the White House dping his damned hardest to ruin the country and everyone else. Save that for when our basic civil freedoms and rights aren't on the road to hell.


WTS if we lucky Trump may not last the year in this job and assuming he isn't impeached by that point.

I'm in support of this. I don't know who will eventually dethrone Trump, but I believe it'll be someone running on a much more intellectual platform. This could be it - basically the current left without the weird baggage that's making them unpopular, like identity politics, ideological purity tests, the arrogant moral high ground, attachment to marxists and violent revolutionaries... Drop the culture war for the moment, simply focus on the issues, and I believe they can win. Also wouldn't hurt to have another JFK-esque populist figure to lead the party.

For me it is twilight zone levels of eerie that no one has said it, so I will. Trump wrote an executive order so that his "beautiful wall" gets built. Really? Is that what we talked when he said "you are going to get tired of so many win"? In case someone does not get it, Trump is a republican president and said party not only is atm in control of the house and the senate, but they also have governors in three out of four states with a border with Mexico and he uses a measure used when a president knows he has no chance at all of making the rest of the government do as he says? The cracks in the trump.republican alliance are starting to show. That would explain why trumps talks about his replacement to obamacare and not a unified republican replacement. I hope congress starts to act soon to limit the executive scope, so that he does not break everything, that is what happens when you let a monkey into the house! >_<

Trump order calls for weekly list of crimes done by undocumented workers

President Trump in the executive orders he signed Tuesday called on the Department of Homeland Security to publish a list each week of the crimes committed by undocumented immigrants.

The order says the Homeland Security Secretary “shall utilize the Declined Detainer Outcome Report or its equivalent and, on a weekly basis, make public a comprehensive list of criminal actions committed by aliens and any jurisdiction that ignored or otherwise failed to honor any detainers with respect to such aliens."

The aim, according to the document, is “to better inform the public regarding the public safety threats associated with sanctuary jurisdictions.”

The two orders signed by Trump on Tuesday call for the construction of a wall on the United States’s southern border with Mexico, in addition to stricter immigration enforcement policies. The one order will strip federal funding of so-called “sanctuary cities.”

I love it. Trump said he was going to make changes from day one and he did not back down on that promise. Campaign promise after campaign promise, he is working towards doing them all at mach speed.

You can hate Trump all you want, but a big part of left propaganda was that Trump would back down on most, if not all of his promises.

This is going one step closer to marking people with a particular symbol on their clothes because they belong to a certain religion or race.

Meh. I'm all for calling them out on the mess they create themselves. Having seen the mess created by 2 reigns of conservative leadership that wanted to make my country become a copy of the worst things in the US, I have no sympathy for conservatives in North America. I'm saying that as a centrist who leans slightly on the left, but yet believes in balance.
