Seriously, don't ask to be spoiled, because it's much more satisfying when you read it yourself. All I'll say is, the manga gave each of the main characters a excellent closure, even Haibara (his backstory was revealed).
I might consider it, but i am not exactly a manga fan. There are only a handful i have been reading so far, so... *shrug* - guess i will remain in the darkness then, unless i change my mind one way or another.

p.s. Say, from your comments here and on Fumio in the Karin thread, are you heading towards the anime milf route now? :3
Sorry to disappoint you, but nop I am just making an observation, not stating a preference

Neither am I. I read about one manga a year, if that. But I followed Mahoraba, and it's one if the very best I've read. I really can't recommend it forcefully enough.

Yes, the manga is just that good.

Skyfall, now if you know whats good for you, go download and read the scanlations or we'll get Vexx to skewer you with his witty riposte. :3

Just kidding, Vexx. :x

I'll throw in another 'go and read the manga as soon as possible'. One of the best relaxing reads you'll find --- even better when listening to the musical score for the anime. :3

I'll have to read them too some day... Just need to find some free time, I even haven't finished the third volume of Furuba yet.

Is the manga finished or is it one still going on that will take me three more years to finish the story. If that is so, I will wait untill it ends. But the anime ending was..what?

It's finished at twelve volumes, but the scanlations are currently just breaking into the last volume (it stalled for over a year after volume ten was done), and they seem to release about once a month.

The manga completed in Japan last summer. Scanlators come and go but once a month or so per chapter is about right (11.X volumes done).

As far as a licensed english version... I ping Tokyopop and few publishers periodically but so far no one seems interested (wierd considering some of the garbage they have picked up).

edit: oops I'm just repeating stuff already posted.... but yes it is one of the very few properties where *both* the anime and manga are full of almost flawless win.

Skyfall, here's another recommendation to read the manga at your leisure... as it has been said before, every character's story gets a good resolution, even Tamani. (I personally liked Megumi's backstory)

Mahoraba Question

Does anyone know the Name of the type of apartment building that they live in in this anime. Not the apartment name but the structural name for that style?

I know this is an odd question i just need to know what its called.

I might be wrong but maybe it's called Washitsu

Here's the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washitsu

Oh by the way, I loved Mahoraba :P Too bad I couldn't finish it because I didn't want it to end.

The 'sou' in 'Narutakisou' is a traditional Japanese-style inn, which would indeed contain almost completely, if not only, washitsu. The dormitory in Love Hina was called 'Hinatasou,' for comparison.
