...not like "A character has a gun pointed at another character, there is an offscreen gunshot, and in the next scene the person you don't expect to have been shot has been shot" hasn't ever been done before.

Nice cliffhanger, but come on. If we assume a full cour for GGO, I seriously don't see Sinon going out like that with 4 episodes left. Plus, doing so gives no resolution to her entire story arc, which would mean quite a bit of wasted time thus far.

Since this isn't Game of Thrones, I'm going to just assume she'll be fine and this cliffhanger was BS.

Good cliffhanger but there is no way Sinon is going out like that. It's bad enough that death gun is a walking reminder of Kirito's past but now he is starting remind Sinon of her past since he just has to have that gun.

A short recap through Asuna's & other ALO players eyes.
No way, DG avoided that shot?! Impressive.
DG killed another player...
Wish they'd make a theory about how he manages to kill people thought a game.
Asuna & Klein made the connection about who DG might be.
Not surprising since they were all in SAO..
Sinon got used again, but she also got intrigued.
Looks like both of them forgot the point of BoB
DG is just more important.
Still, Kirito & Sinon make a great team whoever they fight.
Their plan to ambush DG went sideways.
Sinon was the one to get ambushed... not good.
Really don't like cliffhangers..

Shinon can't die, Kirito will save the day, i'm pretty sure about it.

Nice episode, 9/10.

When I saw that stun gun in action, I was like... "they don't have the nerve to cliffhang that do they...?" And lol. That was excellent. I love cliffhangers-- I really don't get this deal with why people shouldn't like cliffhangers.

Cliffhangers are only annoying when you aren't watching something weekly and you then proceed immediately to the next episode without stopping.

Either way, this episode was just fantastic quality 11/10 once again for me.

This arc is probably one of my favorite animated arcs ever... of course... right now it is still not my favorite yet... I have to see it deliver completely for me to decide that...

I'm so happy that SAO is finally showing what it can do.

This has truly been a very enjoyable season. Every episode makes me wish it were longer... This is the second arc I've seen that has done that to me... other than my favorite arc...

Obvious trope cliffhanger, it acctually annoyed me after a decent episode. Let me guess Kirito either saves her life, she finds the same OP ability Kirito got at the end of SAO not to dye, or finally some random mook stumbled upon them and disrupted everything. I'm just annoyed because it is a over done trope though

I like the fact Asuna and BallsDeep69, opps, I mean Klein is now getting involved. I like Klein I wish they did more with him

They're annoying when they set up something that's supposed to be "ZMONG THEY WOULDN'T", but the actually feeling you get is "Why are they bothering trying to trick you, that's not how this series works."

If this were Game of Thrones or something it'd be different, but it's not. The series resolves plots involving its characters, not whacks them just to shock you and make you wonder who's next. Even in the SAO game itself the only ones who died were red shirts.

That's when they're the least annoying, since then it's not really any different from any other scene transition.

Well, I feel like with marathoning it is annoying because cliffhangers prevent me from stopping my marathon and doing something else.

As far as SAO II goes, I think you have the wrong idea here. You don't actually know if things will be resolved. It is probable from what has happened before, but it isn't guaranteed. Shows can drastically change, and I usually really like shows like that as well...

It's still a shounen series. There's a reason a cute girl was put in the arc, and it wasn't just to kill her off 69% of the way through without giving her any resolution after developing her.

Personally i liked that episode, nice animations as always, flashy fights and moves. Kirito being his usual badass can do everything thing... all in all a nice watch

Problems i had... Asuna, getting more screen time, and cliffhangers...

Spoiler for WDF Sound? Timer 1:34 ish:
