The episode job did a good job covering new content while also providing a recap of sorts. It was done pretty naturally.

Funniest part for me was Shamiko finding out what "mistress" means.

Not much else to say but more Shamiko, finally! Mikan needs more limes than lemons though... they work a lot better for cooking.

Well its back right where it left off and they went on there date

So now there all living in the same apartment on the same floor to and with those thin walls as well

Yeah, I needed this. So happy to have this show back .

Honestly I wasn't sure that they'd pick up right from where last season left off, but I'm glad they did. Momo and Shamiko's date was great. I do love how Momo instantly went to change the moment Mikan raised the idea of it being a date. Too bad that Momo was right that it wasn't intended to be one. But also glad that Momo looking so down guilted Shamiko into changing gears and even giving Momo a present.

It's a good gift too since it goes nicely with Momo's willingness to wear black. She's absolutely fine with being joined at the hip with Shamiko. But she does need to get stronger before that's a real option.

This was just really good. Rewatching the first season was fun. But there is just a thrill in seeing new material and getting to dig into that.

There was an awful lot of SD characters and tails moving.
I wonder if they got more budget than last season, because I don't remember the tail randomly moving so often.
Then again, I don't remember much of the first season anyways.

scared Shamiko is cute! Glad this anime is back.

Momo showing a bit of jealousy when Mikan will be neighbors with Shamiko. The ancestor was thrown out. lol

Can someone make me a recap of what hapenned in s1 please ? it's been too long to remember perfectly, i remember the basic story of shamiko poor curse, the magical girl shenanigan but i don't remember clearly what happened to the curse etc at the end.

Shamiko's father (Yoshua) is sealed inside mandarine box for unknown reason and Momo's elder sister (Sakura) disappeared. Maybe Yoshua was sealed by Sakura, possibly Sakura was weakened and basically become ghost but even this is just hinted and there is no real information. So Shamiko and Momo are trying to make sense of that mess and reunite with their relatives. Also there is matter of possible invasion by blood-thirsty magical girls while Momo is weakened (after Shamiko gave Momo's blood to Lilith partially removing the curse), so Shamiko need to become stronger. Mikan also came to help them protect the city.

I don't see what Shamiko is worried about. Outfits that expose her shoulders look great on her .
