What is it about Western-themed anime? Cowboy Bebop, Black Lagoon, Baccano, even FMA, all great. Much better than the moemoe BS that pervades current anime...

i'd even put bleach in that category. a lot of bleach (particularly the SS, HM and FKT arcs) is very western inspired. namely the settings, damsels in distress and epic showdowns. plus the spanish soundtrack of course. kubo got so into it he even gave stark some sideshooters haha

actually never saw black lagoon. Since it's part of your list with 3 animes i love, i should probably check it out

what about RWBY? Its a western made anime! (Love it, been following RT for years, and all my friends who are girls are after getting seriously into RWBY this year and a few into RvB)

So Bankais have souls? How does that fit Bleach science? Shikai and Bankai are different beings? There are two souls in each zanpakuto? Why am I still questioning this?

I thought it was established long ago that Zanpakuto had souls? They aren't saying Bankai are different souls, just the souls we already knew were there. The quincy apparently think that they're just swords, or extensions of the user.

At least Hitsu looked pretty cool in his pseudo-vizard form. Now that the battle is over maybe we can go back on the main topic, Ichigo killing everyone.

As for bankai having soul, I'm not that surprised. Aren't they part of the shinigami soul or something like that ?

I wouldn't count them completely out yet. Mohawk can still easily kill Hitsu and even Matsu, if she ain't dead already.

Can we seriously get off these two and focus on someone else though? Unfortunely Kubo is too much of a pussy to kill Hitsu or anyone else. How about that girl VR that took Koma's POS Bankai?
