im pretty sure all the music in the show will be by
miester, beat crusaders, goofy's holiday, Husking Bee, Tropical Gorilla, Typhoon 24, Up Hold, YKZ.
Dont know any of the bands but husking bee aint too bad

yeah, but they are so small! 1280x1024 wallpapers are so hard to find.

just watched episode 7 of beck, chiba's singing voice is surprisingly smooth.

they jumped a few chapters ahead, which is a good thing, since not much actually happens during this portion.

and more engrish, of course.

Didn't really check it out very carefully, so somebody PLEASE tell me if it contains unlicensed animes or such and I will remove it right away.

EDIT: Hmm, seems the torrents doesn't work...? Or is it just the older ones?

i get my raws from l33t raws as well, the torrents should be working....... don't know about the older ones, though.

baik!: It worked when I tried IE. Just don't get the point of not letting me save the .torrent wherever Iw ant it, it just downloads it to a temporary folder and opens it.

bleh tabs....and i think the animation doesnt even match the music most of the times for instance when there was high hits in the drum intros of certain songs the drummer would be hitting the ride or something of the sort. I also think that the english is a little off also and when they sing hehe.

Noo? You're hardly the first one who've managed to notice that the animations suck, just to let you know ^__-
But yeah, it's by far the most annoying thing in the series so far. Horrible, horrible animations, even when they don't sing.
Something tells me project Beck doesn't exactly has a huge budget....

Outside of a few exceptions that don't apply here, all unauthorized distribution of a copyrighted work is illegal, whether you put a fansub on it or not. Technically, I suspect that distributing fansubbed anime is actually more illegal than distributing raw anime, since the translation is an unauthorized derivative work, but both are illegal anyway.

The reason why fansubs are allowed here and raws aren't has more to do with the philosophy behind the site than with the law. This site is supposed to be a place where people can see translated shows that they couldn't see in any other way, not a site for free anime; if you're going to download raws, then that justification disappears, since you could just as easily buy the Japanese DVDs.

The wording of the rule is a little awkward, but what it's supposed to say is that the only illegal material allowed here is fansubbed, non-licensed anime.

Anyway, my hopes for this series kinda raised after seeing this episode actually. Maybe it's just me, but I think the animations looked a little better than before, and I really enjoyed the episode overall.

I was sorta disappointed by episode 6. No cool music and I hate the types of situation like Koyuki's now in. So many shows have them and it gets on my nerves. They're never realistic. Plus no new Ryuusuke/Koyuki moments despite having to suffer through the substitute teacher. *pout*

Anyway, Koyuki has a thing for breaking guitars, even if this wasn't really his fault. So now he's being blackmailed for lunchmoney, doh. The band name is gonna be Beck after all, not unexpected. Although I wasn't sure since it's ofcourse also an existing artist name.
