Noir is his ticket to be mecha pilot. It's not necessary romantic. Plus she is robot. There is enough reasons to not drop show yet.

Started watching this in hopes of getting my mecha/sci-fi fix of the season; it's cool, but it does feel like the sheer density of sex/virginity/balls/penis jokes per episode is increasing exponentially

Episode 3 sure had some Aquarion energy.

Anyway, for now I'm looking forward to seeing until when can they keep coming with new ways for a Magus to address their owner...

Considering that falling for inanimate objects isn't rare in Japan, there's definitely a big reason to worry.

Claudia got off really way too easy. This show isn't exactly high drama, though. ^^

Maybe the show will go for a 2+1 kinda setup... Noir seems more like a pet than a love interest so far.

Well, kanata didn't stay as ciel's master and I thought she would ask for it, but maybe in the future and she should go back with them to rock town for now.

I'm not sure why I just watched half an episode of characters playing stuff like Concentration and Life. Was it that hard to use stuff like Blackjack? Or was this an attempt at being funny?

Yep, that's the joke

Anyway my impression each episode is
1) this is so cliche and silly and funny;
2) this seems straight up structured like a video game, complete with story-unlocked powerups, bossess on each level etc, which is weird because there no actual game exists (the tie-in game has its own plot and set of characters).

BTW the model kit for Gilbow (Black Mask's mecha) is on sale and I'm kinda tempted to get it... I find it nice they come with a figure of both the pilot and the magus. Same for Daisyogre, there's a tiny Noir and Kanata included.

I called it, ciel went back with kanata to rock town. Even better she stayed with him and found out that kanata is her ideal master. If maria has like a 6 magus, kanata can have them both.

but there is the problem that ciel is member of a group that are after noir, it will be a problem in the future.
