The short answer: Not Possible.

The long answer: Unless someone invents the Anti-Gravity Bra, or some similar piece of clothing for that purpose, we won't be seeing any of that. Plus to get breasts that size in live action, they'd have to have the female cast be the huge breasted AV models/actresses.

Just received my H.O.T.D doujinshi released by Masayoshi Tanaka (character designer of the series) under Benkeidou circle during Comiket 79.

This doujinshi is a collection of rough drawings and key animation sheets. The first half includes the 1st episode and the rest shows the others and opening excepted episodes 4 and 5 (he didn't direct the animation of these ones even if they're still cuts from episodes 9 & 10).
Really pretty nice book but some scenes are lacking like supersonic boobs from episode 8

. It's also less complete than his previous Toradora doujinshi which has many full color illustrations and interviews.

I feel like live actions just ruin everything, really. I don't think it'll be good at all, like most live actions.

Also, I wish I had that doujinshi omg.

I think a live action adaptation for this series can potentially work if they find some good actors, writers, decent budget, etc. There are actually some Japanese zombie action movies that predate HOTD that aren't too bad, see the movie Versus and Wild Zero, both of them are more over the top than HOTD especially the latter which is one of those movies that has to be seen to be believed.

The fanservice will probably have to be toned down considerably but I think it could still work, I mean, Great Teacher Onizuka live action is toned down a lot from the manga and still managed to be really good IMO; Onizuka is still in character.

But the fanservice defines HOTD. Without it, it simply a generic random zombie series.

Toned down LA HOTD is like watching Hollywood's Dragon Ball LA.

) but it'll be difficult to find actresses who can both act and have the right proportions, and if I have to sacrifice one thing, I'd sacrifice the proportions. If they're faithful to the story and its characters it could work, at least, I think it has a higher chance of succeeding then other anime to live action conversions since HOTD is comparatively realistic. Not to mention that there are live action movies that are more over the top than anything in HOTD like the movie Wild Zero which I mentioned earlier.

I think the problem with the Dragon ball movie is that they changed so much of the story and characters that it doesn't even resemble the source.

Honestly, I think the series does have its own merits that distinguish it from other zombie fiction besides the fan service. For one, the heroes are genre savvy and competent, cooperating more with each other in contrast to many zombie movies where the heroes constantly clash with each other and are ineffectual. HOTD's heroes are actually more like the Zombieland characters though not quite as funny.

Of course, I don't think a live action adaptation is absolutely necessary, but I think it can work.
