Yeah I mean just look at serial killers I mean they're bumping into each other CONSTANTLY while out stalking victims... wait.

We're probably talking hundreds of planets here, maybe thousands and the number of truly potent nutters is probably very sparse. These nutters being nutters likely have little desire to seek each other out or ally and many reasons to avoid one another. There's little logical reason that they'd bumble across each other very often frankly.

Survival of the fittest, mano. Some people tend not to take kindly when others cause trouble in their turf; makes life unnecessarily interesting, and rolls in the cops. ...And it takes place on Mid-Childa, Cranagan City, so you might wanna narrow your scope some. Should I add extra condiments, or did you become an Ally of Justice yesterday?

Thought as much. Well, it certainly creates a strong visual.

You're thinking gangs and drugs dealers. People who have to worry about profit and returning customers.

Serial killers and psychos generally don't have those problems. If they did, there'd be a lot less killers in the world today. When was the last time you opened the newspapers and read "Brutal competition: Serial killer Sir Skinalive kills fellow serial killer Eddy Mcstabby!"

Not to mention that, as you pointed out, this is Cranagan. The amount of nutters here is not exactly Hollywood New York level.

Blame? Hell, I may have to write her a birthday present for this. I'm always a fan of the espionage-thriller genre, and to see one written in the narrative fanon universe I've had a big hand in developing would be lots of fun. It's interesting, too, your use of Celica's hacking skills, because that's one of the things I'd thought of with regard to Lutecia's Insect summon--if she can use them to take over Gadget Drones, what other computer systems could they be used to enslave?

(Would that other anime series be Solty Rei, by the way?)

Bring this one on!

Oh, I fully intend to do so, but I've been somewhat sidetracked as of late. I've been slogging through QAing a bunch of subtitle scripts in Aegisub for a friend, but I'm just about done--I should be able to get the first chapter done today.

And yeah, it is Solty Rei. I'm surprised anyone else knows that, the show kind of went under a lot of people's radars (probably because everyone just assumes Gonzo = horribad).

The cute dark-skinned PROCEED, Celica Yayoi, had Yukari Tamura as a VA. I love that show. It's the most cheerful cyberpunk yarn I've ever consumed, a really refreshing break from the typical grimdark Japanese cyberpunk like Ghost in the Shell.

Plus Solty's so goddamned moeeeeshagdhqefgqevqhef-- *cuteness proximity achieved, neural function halted*H^H^H^H NO CARRIER

lmao, Celica Iris-Lynnfield's appearance is more based off of Integra than anyone... except different hair/eye color. Just had to use that name for the VA tie-in.

Ever since I saw Canaan, I will always think of the crazy taxi driver when I hear Jouji Nakata's voice.

I CAN NEVER TAKE HIM SERIOUSLY AGAIN. D:

(It's especially bad when watching Kara no Kyoukai and Araya shows up and I think of, "HIGHHHHH TENSIONNNN!!!")

That happens a lot actually.

Take Norio Wakamoto. He has awesome roles like Charles in Code Geass and then we have him voicing a perverted Pacman in one show and singing about melons in another.

He also voiced Chou Sen in Koihime Musou game, which is disturbing considering the character's role in the story

Not how I wanted to return here, but this should be shared here.

魔法少女リリカルなのはCHRONICLE and its character sheet

As you can see, it's basically one of the few public pieces of Japan's own Outer Cadia pieces (( toranoana shows that their for-sale OCT doujins are just as crazy as ours if not worst )), featuring Clyde's adventures just before he got vaporized.

Makes ya really envious of the Japanese don't ya?

Speaking of Clyde, I've always wanted to use this line for my Nanoha reboot (not the lame metafictional lolz of Movie 1st):
