I kinda expected Nikaido as Dokuro from the last few chapter so its not a surprise but the surprise is Tenri and Nikaido are in contact and know what's happening but then again it shouldn't be a surprise because if Shiratori grandpa(which still looks young) is in the loop then its possible for all it going according to plan.

But the order of Dokuro to haqua is the one that interest me more.

This would be an odd situation.

In the "past" Elsee was jealous her little sister position was being taken by Dokuro.

But all this time Dokuro has to keep herself from getting too close to Keima while Elsee played the little sister. Plus all all those girls Keima has too woo. We know one of the problem old Dokuro had was to spend the rest of her life as a Christmas cake.

Dokuro would want to spend time with with Oniichan.

Then... the Dokurou he kissed in the past turns out to be Nikaido in the present?!? And is expected for her to call Keima "Onii-chan" should the latter return to the present?!? Student-teacher route like Jun's?!?

Now I wonder if Akari actually knows Nikaido's true identity. I'm guessing not--it seems like devils would be more respectful of the war hero Dokurou. So her statement 'you can only use your power because of me' might just have been lack of knowledge on Akari's part..?

It could also mean that Akari's lending Nikaido her power to strengthen it to some extent, as said by Nikaido that she isn't as strong as she used to so she's borrowing Akari's power to add to her own.

Remember the episode/chapter where Keima asked for Jun's information and Nikaido refused? She was probably worried that Keima will conquer another adult/teacher

Nope the suspiciously didn't.

The only clue we had was in the early chapter 2 where we saw a little sister hand in hand with a big sister.

When neither met some speculated that Akari/Rimuel is Elsee's sister and the image was a misdirection.

Since Nikaido/Dokuro said that Akari spent a Roman Holiday we assumed she is high ranked nobility. As Haqua was the first non-noble to get to be a honor student with that special scythe.

This isn't the first time Wakaki had a dirty rags princess. Albatross in Holy Crystal Albatross had dirty clothes.

Why is Elsee a low ranked demon besides her questionable competence?

I think that while it is true she has a wonderful "big" sister there is truth that she is an illegitimate child. You know that cover story Dokuro gave her.

Its funny that Elsee loves cleaning while Akari is lazy on that.

But I love how the mangaka has continued to make everything that early on was seemingly fluff or "extra" have meaning in retrospect.
