The lowest spot that's close-ish to entrance, I had no issue with first set, but 2nd set when the snakes it seemed to come at different angle at that spot and hit us when we tried to dodge same way.

My understanding is that everyone should be facing away from the wall towards the center.

Haven't seen Twin coming in at any different angle with this method and dodging is the exact same as the first part.

If your group is getting hit, someone is either too far up the ditch or not stacking properly.

The way our group handles it is, in Phase 2, we have Twintania facing the small depression near the entrance (to the right of the entrance as you come into the boss arena). When she drops the neurolink, we run into the depression right up against the fire wall. When she aims to Divebomb, she'll point herself at the outside edge of the arena, and you can easily dodge simply by running up out of the depression and back in.

I killed the Dragon at Brayflox. My teammates were nice to me once they understood that I started almost two weeks ago.

Wow the leviathan fight looks freaking insane. And so much stuff being added this patch, I am glad to see SE putting so much into it .

Also I can't help but notice in the new Amdapor dungeon that last boss it showed bears a striking resembles to FFXI's terrestrial avatar of dreams, Diabolos, wonder if it is actually him and if he is a primal in FFXIV or not.

Yoshida said that Final Fantasy XIV was the fanservice MMO to reference other FF games, but they avoid FFXI parallels for the most part.

I would really, really, really love for them to bring back some of the amazing battles from FFXI, at least thematically. Ark Angels!

I've been having too much lag lately to do Titan (playing from EU). Decided to give Pingzapper a try.

This is basically a VPN, except it's cheaper and you can only route certain games to it. I was skeptical at first, because why would going through some remote proxy improve your connection? If anything, it should make it slower.

But, holy shit. It's a huge improvement. Lag spikes are gone, and if it's like this I don't even have to memorize boss patterns. I can just react to what I see on the screen and never get hit by stuff.

It's still kinda dumb that I need a 3rd party service to play the game properly, when other games are working fine and the game's been out for a pretty long time.

Unfortunately I'm still stuck on Twintania... about half the group is good enough to beat it, while the other half is seriously holding us back in terms of skill. But when it's friends there's not much you can do but just go with it...

I don't quite like the idea of sending out my Vinocacao out for ventures.......

You could send out for something simply like fishing or gathering plants .

Or just use your other retainer since we have 2 of them .
