http://machiavellism-anime.jp/ Fudou Nomura: Tasuku Hatanaka Rin Onigawara: Yuki Takada Staff: Director: Hideki Tachibana Series Composition: Kento Shimoyama Character Design: Shoko Takimoto Music: Mizutani Hiromi (Team-MAX) Scheduled for Spring 2017 Hatanaka and Takada will appear on AnimeJapan 2017 in March promoting the anime The artist asked that they put in extra effort in adapting the Satori fight and I honestly couldn't agree more, it's the second best fight in the manga so far. The writer attends the audition and screenwriting process and had to explain many martial art theories to the director. Really hope this will be good. Last edited by iko_uwais; 2016-12-21 at 05:55. |

The conclusion to that fight between Rin and Nomura was silly. Like yeah, now Rin will forever remember the moment when her "kiss" got stolen.
This is going to my guilty pleasure of the season. Also, this girl got my attention:

A school that's a feminist's wet dream indeed, but the anime itself isn't as it's self-aware enough and our MC is portrayed as the good guy. Major bonus points from me for the fact that he didn't just agree to give up his dignity & crossdress like this rest ~ the fact that he's a chill, kinda badass dude that wants some peace & quiet is also great.
Best girl right there? Or at least there's the curiosity surrounding her since she seems to know the MC. |

She is arguably the true heroine of the series. |

Wow, this was actually a really terrible first episode imo. Almost reminds me of how bad Mahou Sensou's first episode was.
This honestly reeks of what seems like it's possibly the studio's B-team trying to get carried by their music composer. Not to mention, the poor production values, lazy execution, and there's even some phoned in voice acting. I won't judge the premise/plot too deeply because it's begging you to turn your brain off right from the start but besides the OST, there's not really much else here that's good. I did like the explanations during the fight sequence but it was still packed with unnecessary still frames, reused frames, and slow/janky animation. This is supposed to be an action show right? What happened to the budget? Also, was the voice acting director even guiding the main voice actors? A lot of the dialogue delivery is all over the place and not fitting with what the character is currently doing (most notably for the masked girl). Not a great sign when a show is cutting so many corners already in its first episode. Also really enjoyed that aspect too and is probably the only reason I'd watch a few more episodes at least until some typical harem cliche's wedge their way in and take focus away from the weird plot. Got to agree that the music is really well done.
Are you guys sure this is going to be a harem, or are you just predicting based on the trope we saw this episode? It doesn't have harem listed as one of it's genres. |
