The second episode was very fun. I'm liking Misaki more and more. Imouto day next episode? Now that's a better uniform in the preview...

I guess the uniforms really are hit or miss... I don't think I've ever liked a school uniform that much before. I'm a complete fan of that green, but then again bright colors have always been my thing.
I'm sort of disappointed that I couldn't grow to care for Usui after the second episode, but I really appreciate the effort J.C. Staff is putting into this, and Misaki's growing to be a really likable character. I'll definitely keep watching.

Like i've said before, i just don't have a problem with a green. That said, it's understandable why some would hate it because of how badly it can stand out. Though like Kanon said, the maid outfits balance it out a bit.

MangaFox's forum gone kaka and they're banning ppls for talking about the anime... so I came here instead.
LOL at Captain Usui and his English... That's like ultra lady killer move there, just look at that girl with all the hearts... Also, the greenish uniform... well.. back in the days (way back) all uniforms no matter what school it was... it was colored either green or black. (they only have 2 choices to pick from) These days there's a wide range of uniform design and colors as there's more and more freedom in what you can and can not wear in schools that have uniform codes. For some strange reason... the anime Usui reminds me of Senzo from Saiyuki... LOL Maybe it's because of his cold and intelligent attitude... Last edited by chaos_animagic; 2010-04-11 at 17:16. |

Just catching up from ep 1 and I gotta say, they crammed a LOT into that single episode with the expositions than many other similar anime does. They basically showed the main character's life throughout a whole week or so, introduced everyone in her circle of influence (so far) and even had a run-in with punks twice (or thrice?) and had a sick-day-episode occurrence.
Yeah, so far it seems pretty cliche, but I can't help but love the characters so far. It does have that weird X-Factor of lovableness. I just hope the future eps plays with the cliche more and lets its hair down more. These kinds of shows do better when a lot of unexpected things happen. Too many cliche traps with these. But I love how the adaptation came out. |
