What feels like the breathing episode was so deep in how characthers react post Loli Jack arc.
Sieg-Kun with his doubts what to do with his life and about manking and how the little conversation with mordred(and astolfo did send a message to mordred too) and later with Jeanne and that how will mark Sieg action in the final battle. How mordred and her master chemistry is so good and seems those two alway steal the show together. Seems Caules got all extra magical power her sister and that will be something. As a slow chapter was amazing. hooked for the final battle |

I missed my brief review on two episodes back, but I'll go ahead with this one.
Looks like the finale is coming close, with Kairi prepping a decommissioned MiG-21 LanceR-B trainer jet for the final push. A shocking surprise that he could fly a plane, but a supersonic jet? That's hardcore! Post-Jack arc has deeply affected Sieg & Atalanta. Sieg began to doubt the reality of mankind after seen through the dark side of the coin - in world of cruelty, pain, suffering & misery, of the Jack the Ripper's manifestation. But Sieg didn't break as much as what Atalanta become now. It's not wrong to help unfortunate children. But in Jack's twisted manifestation of Reality Marble, those children were a mere lost wandering souls, and it was hopeless to help them. I see nothing but misery if they kept alive, and so Jeanne was right to release their souls out of their misery & find peace in afterlife. Atalanta, though, she was too naive to see it through. I feel sorry for her cruel loss. This also shows that there are people who accepts the reality & those who couldn't accept the painful reality & wanted to overwrite it through so-called "salvation" instead. Jeanne learned Astolfo's... gender in the hard way. But hey, let's still pretend Astolfo's a girl, shall we? But I guess Sieg x Jeanne is the OTP now. PS: Regarding MiG-21 LanceRs, the Romanian Air Force are still flying them till they worn out & slowly phasing them out from service while they got a batch of second-hand F-16s from the Portuguese. Besides, Poland is also flying their MiG-29s & Su-22s until probably the 2020s. Soviet jets really built to last really that long since post-Cold War. MiG-21 production truly ends in 2013 with China's Chengdu J-7, however. Yet the latest J-7 variants look incredibly modern & just as capable. |

How could Jeanne of all people not know about Astolfo's true gender? I thought her status as Ruler would have allowed her to know that, but I guess all she gets are names. Anyway, it made for a funny scene.

It's a habit that Astolfo got used of crossdressing - back in the legend, he got used to it with the poor Roland.
Hilarious how Astolfo act like a genki girl with Sieg-kun, while revert back to a guy to Jeanne. |

Laeticia was initially actually suppressing Jeanne's interest due to her fear of men and general lack of experience with them. Once Laeticia falls for Seig, Jeanne doesn't really have a buffer for her own feelings anymore and down she goes.

This is funny as the historical Jeanna D'Arc wore men's clothes. |
