A little late, just catching up:

Episode 2:

Jeebus, that porn book parade, it's just like the dead grandfather said - it's like the staff said 'why the hell not?' and proceeded to make all the season 2 episodes as crazy as season 1's flying panties episode

Airhead angel is pretty funny, really creative way of portraying what Tomoki did to her, using that 6 stages of whatever.

Nymph with her hair down is so win.

I'm also pleased that although they're combing chapters/omakes together, it still flows nicely for once.

Oh, I quite liked whenever they played Tomoki's theme song and the disgusted and horrified ladies.

Very good episode 4, the anime surpassed its manga counterpart once again.

Snowhara is a truly fearsome being

Snowhara definitely felt like a "Ghostbusters" sendup to me.

Episode 4:

THis show must have a heck of a budget - different ED every week O_O

Was the training clip at the end a tribute to Jackie Chan kungfu movies? EDIT: nevermind, just saw Midonin's post

So... What is the relationship between Eishiro and Mikako again? I mean sure Tomoki would get all the girls, but somehow those two just seem like the more interesting pair heh.

Well, since they are using old songs they don't have to pay much for the songs themselves. Although new ED animations every ep are probably big cost drivers.

Someone has pointed this out:

Not spoiler unless you already know what you are looking at.

Actually, the chapter this episode is based off was released before even the first season was announced (with Oyakata Tomoki) and Tomoki had a voice actor, so it is more or less a coincidence than a reference to Sengoku Basara.

Though as a result of that, perhaps, but a couple of parts in the episode looked funny.
Also, over the budget, I would rather say "THis show must have a heck of a staff", since it is them drawing the animation.

I never said this episode was a reference . I said they could have added a few voice actor references, that's all.

Ah...! My bad, I read your post wrong (I had a feeling I had something misunderstood...).

Don't remember it ... I'm not sure ... It's about the other characters ?
For Sohara, she is over 9000 ... so you can't fight againts her. x_x

Oh, okay. I don't really remember S1, it got a little dull for me towards the end. Season 2, though, has been brimming with creativity and perversion

Beware the wrath of the abominable Snowhara! Episode is awesome as usual, even though I've read the manga it's still interesting to watch. This is indeed one of the manga that is even better in the animated adaptation, thanks to the studio working on it as well. The insert song at the decimation of Tomoki's army is perfect, sounds similar to what I had in mind when reading the lyrics in the manga as well. Really, seeing how crazy powerful Sohara is, it's things like this that fuels the speculation that she may be an Angeloid as well...

Yeah, I don't remember it coming up in the hot spring conversation from the manga as well. I'm all for it though, if the mangaka doesn't have any specific plan for it then I fully trust the studio should they decided to make it into a subplot. Sugata's already pretty important to the main plot, what's with him being the one who is actually interested in investigating Synapse/New World, but he's cool enough to get the extra attention.

What's more, it can get Mikako involved as well, giving her more relevance than to make up crazy schemes (like this episode snowball war and wrestling tournament last season) that's chock full of comedy and fanservice, but don't really related to any plot. Also, I kinda like the Mikako Sugata relationship, the face in the end suggests that if there's one person she fully trusts, and cares for a bit more than just for her own amusement, it's Sugata. Of course, she just crushed her face single-handedly last episode, but these days, what childhood friend don't do that?

Leave it to SnO to come up with awesome ED, main reason I never skipped them. My first thought was Jackie Chan in Drunken Master, seems that I'm not too far off (at least the genre is kinda similar)

Ah, good point. It's not easy animating so much jiggling
