My god this anime is so funny

I confess I do not know half of the robot represented by these girls but that does not stop me from loving and laughing

I especially love the girl-sea urchin-perversely-masochistic +10 for her

Do each "enemy" robot girl personality have a connection with the original monster robot? The only thing in common that I remember for Mazinger Z is that Mazinger was OP and Dr. Hell's robot where almost all crap.

All of the other "enemy" girls correspond to a Mechanical Beast from the original series, like the girl with the twin puppets being Doublas M2.

Doublas M2 was just too damn cute, I felt bad when she was getting beat up. The way they made most of the mechanical beast girls sympathetic was adorable, at this point they shinned more than the Robot Girls.

The first episode was funny and with addition of more characters, this should turn into a very fun show.

The next batch of episodes are released on february 2, and the final batch (i think) on march. I thought we will have an episode per week, but we are having 3 mini-episodes released the same day every month... Oh well, it could have been worse...

I just watched it, this is lovably cheesy although the music is annoying.

Do each "enemy" robot girl personality have a connection with the original monster robot?

Aside from Glossam X2 and to a much less degree Garada K7 no not at all and even then Glossam wasn't talking about violation during battle or get caught in a net.

I had a good laugh watching this, also perhaps I watched the original shows back in the early '80s (I feel really old now).
It really parodies the old Toei versions, also they seem to love to bully Doublas M2 for some reason.

My god I understand now... because before the start of the anime I thought there'll 10 minutes per episode but when I saw episode 1 which is 27 minutes I "ha I am wrong"

But now that you inform me of any information that explains the studios decide to make an episode involving 3 every month?

Mazinger's franchise really fits the the genre cycle if you think about it.

Primitive- Z, Great, and Grendizer

Classical- God and Mazinkaiser

Revisionist- Shin Mazinger and SKL

Parody- Those 1 minute flash toons and this series.

So Mazinger Z is like the Dracula of its genre.

This anime is so horribly amazing!!!!^^

The script and dialogues were full of nonsense and yet I fell in love with it. I liked it a lot. MUST WATCH MORE!!!!!^^

Remember in the original show, Mazinger could be either devil or a god, in this case these girls decided to be the devil.

I honestly don't remember that famous quote in the original series (while I remember it in the original Nagai manga and in MazinSaga - not exactly phrased like that -, among the others). Though it seems to me it's just making fun of all the ideas present in the original series, and while it won't happen I'd like to see some Great Mazinger and Grendizer villains in it as well (aside the Ankoku Daishogun of the OP).

Anyway in general the series looks like a better implementation for the Robot Girls idea, since I think it was underutilized until now.
