I love how sarcastic everyone here has become

I also love how this sternritter doesn't use his bow and arrows. It's probably gonna be a part of his Super Ultra Mega Ultimate form, then Renji's gonna go bankai and win but will be unable to fight further

Actually, come to think of it... how many of these guys DO use bows and arrows. I feel like the only time i can recall them using anything like that was that giant arrow(which is technically more like a javelin than an arrow) that killed what's-his-name from the first division. We've seen swords, guns, claws, fingers, thorns, throwing knives and so on. I'm having trouble recalling times these guys used bows and arrows despite them being THE signature weapon of the quincy. Heck, I recall that ishida pointed out that Quincies don't fight with anything other than Bows and arrows back in the HM arc. And yet the sternritter seem to fight with just about anything Kubo can think of. Why, you might just think that Kubo didn't plan out any of this out and just made it all up as he went along.

all the quincies are metaphors, the star guy is using the little guy as his bow and he's firing huge lasers

Is Superstar now in his Vollständig-Form? It sure looks a bit like it, with the halo and the wings.

I really wonder where all of this should lead to. The fight could have been over last chapter but gets dragged on again.

Soo far only 5 users have used bow and arrows I think. We have the Ishida family and that arrancar guy.

That wasn't a bow, it was a set of cannons. The only person in the Vandenreich that uses a bow is Uryu.

So...I read up (manga-wise) the part up until Ichigo was meeting with some special squad people to learn about his bankai or about bankai / swords in general.

In any case, stopped reading the manga to let it run for a while, was just wanting to check in to see if now is a good time to catch up? And is the current arc better than people had hoped or thought it'd be?

We need Aizen-Yoruichi-Yachiru (the little one) back. Their sass is the only saving grace of this manga. Hollow Ichigo has it but seeing this No-Hollowfication bullshit means he's not coming back.

The best thing about this arc is that Kubo has finally started answering SOME questions anyway (Ichigo's background and why he's so special, shown some bankais).

However, while it's not as bad as the Fullbring Arc, it's not as fun as watching Aizen troll everyone and their mother either. Also, it's pretty obvious that Kubo's checked out on most of the characters (see the Vizards)
