Anyone from Pittsburgh??(going there this summer)

Hi!!!

I wanted to know if anyone's from Pittsburgh, cause I'm going there on July, and I'm Spanish so I'm a little scared...and I don't know any manga stores there!!!(and I wanted to buy the things I can't find here in my country).

Also, any information concerning anime prime time on tv and channels would be greatly appreciated^^

there are lots of hispanic/spanish folks in that area. i dont know any though ;____;

if you can speak a little english and a little spanish you will be fine.

depending on where you stay, the TV has anime at 4-6PM on local TV channels, but on cable there is anime network which is 24 hours and cartoon networks which shows anime at various times at night.

Oh, thanks, but I'm not worried about the language!!My English isn't perfect, but it's good enough, and I'll be living with relatives.

I just wanted some guidance, or to know anyone there who could show me the city, where to go out and such.

Oh, and the names of the channels would be great, as I'll tell my aunt and she'll tell me where to get them(number)

hmmm.., might aswell give a bit more in-sight about me.

So.., Portugal here

Not exactly the best place to live, even though I do..., I honestly be rather living in Prague; but that is just a dream of mine ^^

All and all it has its good aspects never the less.., the city I live is quite small, despite beeing the capitol of its region (Faro / Algarve), I can say I can go to anywhere I wish on 20 minutes by foot.

This is a turism region aswell, since the weather is pretty good here.., altough well.., lucky me who rather likes rainy days better..

That's funny You like rain, and english people, who don't have anything else, would give everything to have your weather.

Anyway, last summer I went to El Algarve and I found it very beautiful, even with all those fires you had going around the place.I can't wait to go back there...I want to see Lisbon with my friends!!Maybe we'll get a car and just drive there next year's Semana Santa.

Is there really NO ONE from Pittsburgh??AT ALL??

I'm living in Germany, in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Nobody will probably know the most boring city there - it's called Herne.

Iam from London in England from an area known as Fulham. I live about 15 min away from central london, which accomadates all my favourite comic shops and a good number of great (and affordable) japanese restaurants. If your ever in london and need help buying manga/anime/comics..etc i can take you around, np!

Me, I'm from the southern United States.

I reside in Arkansas (which I really don't think should be called "the south"), but I'm originally from Mississippi. No cliched accent here, thankyouverymuch.

One thing I enjoy a lot about watching Japanese shows is that during summertime settings, the sound of cicadas is used a LOT. It reminds me of home.
