I'm guessing Sayoko. She is a ninja and a successor to whatever she said a while back so she got skills. Since the power is out, she has the advantage. Not to sure about a KOR having her escape for reasons already stated.

I was interested that Lelouch is on Kallen's mind so much now. It's almost like the whole purpose for her capture wasn't just about the Guren's upgrades, but for Kallen to get to know more about Lelouch. Even while Gino is showing her pictures, and talking about Suzaku, Kallen seems more focused on Lelouch.
That's pretty interesting that her time in jail has been spend getting a better understanding of Lelouch. I'm now looking even more forward to that reunion.

I wouldn't expect anything mushy if I were you. Infact it will most likely involve Lelouch being a complete asshole to Kallen. I hope she punches him. That way Kallen will be even more awesome for beating up the two biggest morons in the show.

I know what you mean. If nothing happens with this events it would seem like such a waste of the time she spent in captivity.
Since we now know that Lloyd is the one up upgrades the Guren I thought that her capture was just a story arc to explain how the Guren is so beefed up, and how Kallen gets it back. Being a captive, behind enemy lines, does explain how she gets it back so easily. I don't buy that Gino would set her free. Wouldn't he be too busy fighting in the battle over Tokyo? I'm still convinced that if Lelouch's identity is made public that It will be Nunnally. That or with the power down in the entire city Kallen could rescue herself. If all the power is down, so should the security,.

It just seems odd tehy should waste time of Kallen getting a better understanding of Lelouch, if this doesn't play some kind of role in the story. If you see the extended preview of episode 18 You can hear Lelouch at the end say he will save Kallen. I was actually rather surprised from that. I understand him stating how he wants to save Nunnally, but I thought with Suzaku's supposed betrayal he would be too enraged to think about anyone other then Nunnally.

Yeah, might be best to put spoilers and so forth in sppiler tags around here. Posting spoilers here (especially when they're related tot he character in question that the thread is the subject of) isn't as bad as posting'em in the episode of the week thread, but it is best to put'em in spoiler tags anyway.
Anyway, I believe the general consensus is/seems to be that if Kallen trying to understand Lelouch, which has been what her character development/focus has been all about since the start of R2, doesn't play any role later on, it'll be very... odd indeed - as well as frankly a waste >_< . |
