Is the show going to end next week or is it a 26 episode deal?

The ending for this episode was awesome!

Which player is number 15 again? The one shown there charging the goal, right at the end of the episode.

Wow those Osaka Gunners are so cocky.

Given the fact that they are literally dragging this out and will probably end the game in episode 26 there's no way in heck Osaka is winning this game. They can barely get another goal and their "trump card" Kubota is already tired out.

Holy crap though I hate that guy, he's so freaking annoying, just wanna bash his face into a bloody pulp. Then there's that other guy who take a ball to his face, his razor sharp teeth just make him stand out.

ANd Natsuki...oh boy that guy thinks too much.

Finally made the effort to catch up. This is the only show I'm following at the minute, I never thought I'd be saying that about a Sports anime as I genuinely hate football in real life, but this is absolutely brilliant, a great mix of tension/excitement and character psychologies mixed in with plausible tactical ideas and games

Damn that latest cliffhanger though. Has to be a goal, right? Right?

Is there any hope for a second series by the way? It would be an absolute tragedy if this doesn't continue...

This is a good series and the action within the matches was very nicely done. Btw as far as I know the manga is a weekly release and there are enough chapters for a second season.

Spoiler for WARNING SPOILER ABOUT THE OSAKA MATCH:

I read about the manga progress in another forum. This manga is very elusive and can't even find an online version to it. Even the spoiler was talked about there and since the first goal they got it right 2 weeks ago I thought the rest is correct as well.

Damn is Osaka now resulting to playing Dirty now? Tsubaki had a good chance to pass it to Sera or Naki.... is it illegal to pull a person away from the ball in soccer let alone push them?

Yes it is.

It's not dirty tricks Osaka is playing, rather one could say its etu that's doing it. Kuro got hauer mad and hauer got a yellow card for that. Then Osaka captain got desperate when he realized what was going on and for pulling. Tsubaki so close that's a penalty shot right there.

ETU or to be precise Tatsumi is not playing dirty he is playing smart, poking holes at Osaka's weakness using Dalfer's own football philosophy against him, baiting the opponent's key players into crumbling-in on their own-self. That is what I call a true tactician, studying the opponent's habits and using it to their own advantage.

Now only if I see this happening in true life situation and I would be laughing but usually a trap like this really doesn't work in the top leagues.

Just call the other player's sister a whore. I'm sure it would work somewhere.

This match is good for osaka. ETU can get their pride, osaka can tune up for when it really matters.

Anyway, talk like a pirate day aside, I'm sure he'll get his turn eventually - should be interesting what twist they pull on his plot line.

That wasn't the best episode of the match but a satisfying conclusion regardless. Loved the little closing scene where the coaches shook hands.

I've certainly cared more about football through this series than I ever have in real life.
