I don't know how I feel about them implementing canon material into an OVA.
To me, when I hear "OVA", I usually think "bonus episode". Something extra and completely unrelated to the story to whet the audience. What they're deciding to adapt could work I suppose since it was a "special chapter" in the first place, but that's not the problem, the problem is that it's canon material that has some influence on the later chapters of the story, and for those who don't watch the OVA, things could get confusing down the road.

I think "4 girls and a idol" will be one of the best chapter to adapt for the OVA, because undoubtedly, it signal the return of earlier girls, and on how this show will not entirely follow the "monster girl of the week" method...
Other than the obvious Tenri arc, S3 if would be confirmed gonna be really interesting if they play on the melancholy Keima had after Manami arc. And also melodrama of Reiko chapter. Maybe also put a heavy tone on Sumire's family issue? They were success with Chihiro arc afterall

At best it's strong foreshadowing for what is to come, at worst, it's just a fun omake episode and a chance to see Keima interact with the girls at school again. Nothing really important in it that can't be missed. The next season will be fun, because it has 2 girls I really like. Though after that it's going to be hard to sit through the anime until it reaches the current manga arc. |

What I'm slightly worried about is if the anime keeps going and those who didn't watch the OVA will go "When did Chihiro form her band?" and "Where was it stated that Elsie and Ayumi are members of the band?" and other questions. AND I originally thought Yui was introduced in these chapters too, but I double checked and I guess I was in error, so the importance isn't as significant as I thought. Basically, doing this could just cause some confusion. I'm not incredibly worried about it now, but I still think this might have been better off as actual anime episodes instead.

They could just keep on casually building it like they have been in between episodes with the seeds of the band slowly being formed as we can tell during classroom scenes and their discussions so that one day we realize they finally have an official club. Quote:

Judging by the teaser preview at the end of season 2, we're probably safe to assume that those are the 5 upcoming captures.
In the manga, they're ordered: Tsukiyo, Minami, Tenri, Reiko/Ari, and Sumire. I haven't watched the Tenri OVA so I don't know how much they covered. If they feel like they gave it sufficient coverage then we might not get the Tenri arc. If we do get the Tenri arc then one of the other will probably be dropped out as in the previous two seasons there has only been time for 4 captures plus 2 or 3 side episodes.
