We need a special thread about macross live event
Like budokan this christmass, the last budokan concert (maybe after the 2nd movie) Because I am planning to go to the last concert... In budokan in 2011 It could be our last chance to watch may'n as sheryl singing... So maybe we can make a plan and go to japan together... |

I'd ask for a new thread called "Let's re-watch Macross Frontier together", to be opened on Saturday the 16th ( or ideally on Friday the 15ths evening ), for the project discussed in the generic Macross 25 thread, to re-watch the series together and discuss about it.

A thread would be nice, though we've talked about such events in the past using the music thread, so the mods might just say to carry on using that.
@magnuskn - If a mod doesn't say anything a few days before the 16th, then it's best to pm one.

I have no problem with such a thread, but two things:
1. Will this thread suffer the same fate as similar threads in the Lucky Star and Shuffle! forums? 2. I'll need someone to write an appropriate opening post that describes what the thread is about and what rules to follow (I suggest leaving the shipping at the door). |

No, I don't think the thread will be abandoned as those others you pointed out. I definitely plan on always adding at least one post to it per week and I can't see the others who want to participate abandoning it, neither, given that they all have remained active on this forum for the whole two years after the end of the show.
I can also contribute the opening post, which I can have ready by Thursday. I'll leave the shipping out of that, but no promises as to what is actually discussed later on in the thread. The romance is an essential part of the show, after all.

PLEASE MAKE A THREAD SPECIALL FOR UPCOMING PSP GAME...
http://www.gamefaqs.com/psp/614495-m...angle-frontier Over in Japan this week, Namco Bandai revealed that they're in the midst of producing a third PSP title set in the universe of 2008 robot TV anime Macross Frontier. The new one, called Macross Triangle Frontier, is due out February 3 across Japan. As before, the focus of Triangle Frontier is placed squarely on the single-player campaign mode, a 3D action shooter that's loosely based on the events of the show. Not a lot has been revealed on this sequel's campaign quite yet, save for little tidbits on how the new Frontier films (due out in 2011) are going to figure in the game. For now, NBGI is focusing its preview coverage on "academy mode," which allows you to create and play as a brand-new student in Mihoshi Academy, the enormous school housed inside the Frontier fleet of the TV show. Working a bit like Persona 3's school bits, the mode lets you go through a typical school career, build up the pilot skills of your avatar, and watch cutscenes featuring him (or her) interacting with characters from the Frontier series. Once your character's done with school -- which is estimated to take between two and five hours, depending on how detailed you want to get with it -- you'll then get to use the new recruit in the game's campaign mode. In addition to the regular version of the game hitting stores February 3 for 5229 yen. Namco Bandai is also preparing a 7329-yen special edition that'll include a UMD of the first Macross film of 2011, a basic sort of re-edit of the TV series. Famitsu says there are event scenes with Ranka Lee, Sheryl Nome, and Clan Clang dressed in gym clothes and swimsuits. |
