I only notice it with Lag. With Gauche, it was hard to tell if he did or didn't most of the time but everyone else you could see the eyebrows without even trying.

But really, eyebrows are just one component to the character design anyway so that might help you understand a little better.

I finally got around to watching the first episode. I was impressed. There's a lot about this world that intrigues me. I'm really curious about what happened with Lag's mother. I hope we find out. The only thing that gave me pause was the names, especially Gauche's. Although that may have been intentional on the mangaka's part.

The other thing that made me giggle every so often was thinking "This is the Pony Express on an alien planet."

Lag Seeing is the main character.

The first chapter is explaining why Lag wants to be a letter bee (so no flashbacks, yay!) and also sets in motion some of the driving forces for the rest of the plot.

Well kinda more that I read the conv btwn you and Sensei about this and Kobato

Aside from the fact that I hear Lulu when Gauche talks (which is fine), I really enjoyed the first two epis. Usually characters like Lag I find generally annoying but I didnt with him. His story along with Gauche's put a nice normal feeling into what Sensei put as "This is the Pony Express on an alien planet"

Oh and Gauche being easy on the eyes is nice as well

Im impressed with the animation so far as well which isnt something I normally notice in anime but everything looks so crisp, hopefully stays that way.

So far Im digging this anime.

Watch the OVA, if you want to get the general theme of the show, however it will spoil the introductions of some characters. I suggest watch the TV series first than seeing the OVA around ep 5 or so.

If you went through everything Lag did before Gauche arrived, i'm sure you'd be acting the exact same way.

totally agreed after i watched the 1st 2 eps in a row

the colors are striking and the animation quality is very good, maybe the CG bugs can be better

i hope the world settings will be explained more
