It also depends on how many mooks are there. If all the IS wielding ones are fighting our ISA pilots, the rest will be dealt with Irish and Kyuukai. Also, it depends on if the mooks are aiming to kill anybody, and if this attack is meant for full on terrorism.

Cause Kyuukai (and probably Irish) will honestly start massacring them as soon as they start shoving around lethal force.

@ Rain - Irish is busy with Arachne/Autumn. Kyuukai will defend the students but what scar do you want him to have? I was thinking of one on the side.

@ Eratas: I was thinking of a sabot slug round through the left shoulder and out the back. It practically punches a hole through him.

It renders his arm strength useless for fighting for a month or two. Which allows him to settle down and start "raising" his family. Namely, by making Koneko.

How many mooks are there? Are they there to actually start killing people? And do Kyuukai and Irish actually start killing them?

@ Rain - The mondo grosso even gets interrupted by phantom task for reasons unknown. Ichika fights Madoka, Irish and Tatenashi fight a stronger Arachne and Kyuukai fights about 3-5 mooks. Squall and Madoka are willing to attack civilians while Autumn and the Mooks attack civilians. Before you ask: No, none of them win against their respecttive fights. Chifuyu, Maya and the Harem manage to hold out though.

@ Eratas: I've got the impression that these guys are trained commandos. So I'm expecting a tense, epic fight between trained professionals willing to do anything to kill the other.

Kyuukai could get the wound during a hostage trade off. Kyuukai manages to subdue one of the guys (after killing about 3 of them) and takes him as a meat shield, while the other one takes a student and does the same.

He demands a trade off, his the life of his teammate for the life of the student. The two let go of their hostages and order them to walk to the other side while their guns are trained on them. Once Kyuukai lets go of his hostage, still keeping him at gun point, and the two hostages halfway reach their allies, the mook takes a shot at Kyuukai, and he gets wounded.

Kyuukai drops Sonia, but pulls out his pistol and manages to kill both mooks with shots to the head.

After that, he can either be treated by the students he protected, or pass out due to blood loss. The former is the most preferable option.

What is the plausibility about the fact that there's actually more than 467 cores, but only 467 units are truly functional (besides the cores specifically made by Tabane after her self-recluse)?

@ Rain - There are only 3 mooks and all of them use IS. The mooks aren't trying to take hostages, they just don't care about hurting civilians which means Kyuukai will have to take a bullet to save them. I'll need your help for this segment since I suck at fight scenes.

@ Senpai - Pretty high. I doubt she managed to make the cores without any mistakes or prototypes.

@ Eratas: The same scene can happen, except Kyuukai disarms them of their IS first, by rendering them inoperable. But then again, he's never faced 3 IS on his own without at the very least a person or two as back up. He should know that he's facing bad odds that don't favor him.

So he won't take it too bad that he got wounded. But he'll still hurt a bit that he lost, but not that much since he completed his primary objective, protecting the civilians.

Thanks, those cores supposedly sealed/ destroyed, but actually 'refurbished' by using various method, often dangerous/ harmful to the pilot even though the reactivation process was successful. The only one that actually achieved reactivation without such drawback is Iori Senbei, even then the result are much weaker than the original and it's evolving capability is severely limited. However, it also has advantage being usable by anyone regardless of aptitude level or gender.

I left it vague. Such clues are:

The Kingdom of Ea can field around 5 IS per raid, and can push into the 20s when they pile in like they did to try and steal the Vandam and Copernicus. They may even throw in an Armored Stratos or two. And when they are defeated, they completely self-destruct or 'phase out', leaving no trace and making analysis impossible.

The ISpers can sense that there's something different about these IS cores. They seem 'angry'. And Karon feels that these are so 'angry' that they cannot be piloted. Manned IS of the Ea are few and far between, and invariable manned IS are command units. These seem less 'angry' but the pilot and the core seem to be constantly rejecting one another.

I'll reveal more as time passes. :3

@ Senpai - Well, I failed that exam Anyway, I'm making a draft on either IKaron or the CPR scene with Tatenashi either later or tom. What do you think I should focus on?

@ Rain - The story will switch to slice of life after the Mondo Grosso defense. None of the three will be in any condition to fight. Can you think of a reason for Kyuukai to stay in IS academy and not get sent back to the base? Ichika's a student and Irish has amnesia so moving him to a base isn't the best idea.

@ Meistah - Once again, the similarity to the venom suit is uncanny What does their power have to do with their idol life anyway?

Personally i want IKaron draft, but then again it wasn't supposed to be posted at FF.net until Meister can reach some point in his story. Both of them is good, go ahead and pick.

I used to write a 'child novel' and printed it (often posted on school newspaper too), damn near everyone read it in Junior High, in High School and College, not so much.

@ Eratas: Kyuukai already can stay without having to go back to the base. Since the Council of Public Relations is having a field day with the incident, it's in public imagery interests to have Kyuukai recuperate in the company of friends.

So it's slice of life and romcom time.

Question! Is Canan already at the academy, and can Koneko be built at that point of the story?

@ Box: I've done that already. Shown my teachers too, and I've been guarenteed at least As for the rest of my high school term in anything to do with literature.

@ Rain - How would Canan be in the academy? By all medical accounts she's either a retard or an idiot savant so IS academy wouldn't accept her. Dunno about Koneko since he's gonna focus on Laura.

@ Eratas: ISA wouldn't accept her, but she'll be sent to the orphanage across the river. Kyuukai visits, and you can have some mentions of Adam or actually an appearance.

Also, it doesn't stop her from showing up in the morning. And Kyuukai escorts her back to the orphanage at night.
