despite his wickedness, Littlefinger is one of my favorite characters. there are some characters you outright despise, like Joffry, then you have other characters who aren't good, but still enjoy watching.
Also, what a reintroduction for Theon and Yara..

I'm curious as to why they changed her name to Yara, it's supposed to be Asha. /grumble.
Littlefinger is a prick no two ways about it. The Arya and Gendry bits were amusing. Cersei is a selfish leader and is realizing what a monster she has made in Joffery, at least Tyrion knows how to talk to people. Lord Varys is also a great character. I found the scene with Stannis and Melisandre at the end to be an interesting metaphor heh. Mmm Craster, Craster, Craster I guess that's one way to keep yourself safe. I like the crackling ice sounds to. Spoiler for pic:
She looks way different, with her real (?) hair colour. Sharp jaw line too.

Nice to hear this early about the third season. GoT is the only live show I still watch (True Blood, Dr Who, Warehouse 13, Fringe and Spartacus turned really trashy lately). Nevertheless, with these intervals (about 40 weeks ~ 9-10 months) it's not exactly easy to watch, especially with the 40 minute format and the disparate storytelling

Ok. I finally finished the first season. If it wasn't for this thread, I wouldn't even known about this magnificent series. So thank you guys.
Gotta admit, all the power struggles and conspiracies were very intriguing to watch. I also can't help but love the Starks especially Ned. Spoiler for last episode:

Also will Mr. R.R. Martin give them the ending early despite whenever something bad happens and it would effect the novels and live action series. |

That is my concern as well. There is about one ASOIAF novel every 4 years. The 4th book got so big that he had to split into two. If HBO keeps on making the GoT series, it will catch up to the novel in just a few years. According to my optimistic calculation, the last novel is probably still a decade away. By then all the child actors would be in their 20's.
