So Hikki got a Pan-san cup , from both SC girls, and Yukinon stuck to her excuse that it wasn't a gift, but a remedy to the waste of paper cups, she's already got the tsun part, lets hope someday we'll see the dere
Also, Rumi turned out alright, smiling, taking the lead on the play, and even talking with Hayama, and Irohasu has started to act like a Prez a lot more. |

What a perfect ending. I think that's probably the perfect place to stop for season 2, no?
I can't believe it's ended that well from just the last three volumes and they're still writing more. That's incredible. I should have read light novels sooner. |

Great ending.
I love that Hachiman's past problems were addressed in this volume. His long ago failed confession to Kaori, last year's attempt to solve Rumi's bullying problem, and recent Iroha's reluctance to her new presidency and Service Club problems. They were properly solved and had nice wrap up to them. Definitely turning point of series. |

O'Henry's Gift of the Magi *giggles*
The narrator talks about the magi giving gifts and then Hikki, Yukino and Yui come in *giggity-giggles* Yukino doesn't want to see any cakes for some time *lolz* But gives in after Yui says she'll cook *roflz* Awesome chapter. |

On that shining stage, what my eyes laid upon was the conclusion to that “story”.
Here I was, not knowing what happens beyond it. That’s why I will surely continue to search for it for a long time. looks like Wataru is trying to tell us that none of the girls win in the end. But the most important thing is in the afterword: "Finally, to all of the readers of this series. Thanks to you all, this story is nearing the final stages. It will be continuing just for a little longer." So my prediction of it being 10 or 11 volumes long might be true after all... It's obvious Yukinon's arc is coming up next so we'll see a lot more Haruno and Hayama, fingers crossed for Isshiki to become a Main character next vol., seeing her as Hachiman's female counterpart was sure as hell interesting. Also, I think we're not quite done with Orimoto. THANKS SPYRO FOR EVERYTHING, PLEASE TRANSLATE VOL. 10, although my prediction is that Vol. 10 will come out with the anime, or with the release date of the anime, and the final volume will be released along with the S2 finale |

I could live in nobody wins, and I'd still love the series to death. But Yukinon getting "permanent Hachiman points" (if you know what I mean) would be...
Well, entrenched as favorite of all time on my list. However, OreGairu already is my favorite. I would also give them best of all time (permanently) if they Clannad OVA'd the endings. Unfortunately, that isn't going to happen. However, I'd be just fine with a neutral ending. Or a "We'll see what happens, but you won't." kind of ending. I'd still love the series to death, and would buy every book if it was ever translated. Love OreGairu. |

I think S2 will cover until Vol 9 it's a perfect wrap up of everything that's going on at this point and there is clearly enough material for 12-13 episodes in those 3.
(Vol 1 isn't completely covered and it took 3 episodes , same for 6). If they choose to wait for Vol 10 to come out it might end while things are in motion and not provide a good closure. They really can't skip that much since the latest volumes are really heavy plot-wise while the first had more filler materials in them , so if they wait as long as Vol 11 to end it it's probably gonna miss out a lot of stuff and I'll be disappointed. About Hachiman's last words here , it's echoing to those he spoke at the end of the prologue ,so from this Quote:
Quote:
But I can see progress , in thoses quotes I think he understands he gained something precious and is worthy of it but he is afraid to break it , well I guess Sensei's speech about caring for someone is to be ready to hurt them will find it's meaning soon enough.
