It is only recently that I really got hooked into anime, however I've watched the occasional one since I was a kid. Oh and hi again GHDpro, I used to lurk emulator-zone forums alot, stopped years ago though. It's nice to see you still active

Hi, I registered two weeks ago (still new), but haven't posted anything on the forums yet (though, someone was nice and sent me a friend request). If you don't see me for long periods of times, it's because I'm too busy to come on (or am playing one of my visual novels, LOL).
It's been a couple years since I got into anime and manga. I was seeing a lot of posts on the Nintendo of America forum about different animes, and one caught my attention. That anime was Ranma 1/2. On the forum, some of the posters were making it out to sound really perverted, so I was a little nervous about watching it (I had a younger, innocent mind  ). I decided to watch an episode on youtube, and, well, now I own (last time I checked) over 400 anime DVDs (and I think it might be more like 600/700 now). I need another bookcase (and space)!I also really like visual novels (even more so than anime and manga). I've been playing them for the last two-or-so years. Their plots are usually so much more in-depth than anime. Play Ever 17 people (that's where I got my signature/avatar from)! I do really like anime, but haven't been watching any anime recently because I need to buy a new TV (excluding a KgNE ~Next Season~ episode that I downloaded here). I've been wanting to watch my Evangelion DVDs, but my TV's way too small to enjoy it! Oh, one more thing. As you may have realised, I tend to write really long posts. *looks at everyone elses introductions *

I've been lurking here for the past few months, so I've decided to LURK NO MOAR The only two other forums I'm currently active in I've been a member of for over 6 years now, so registering here as a new guy feels to me like starting over in a sequel to a video game, or moving to a new high school, or dating a new person...'Course, my simile could be flawed, since I've only personally experienced 1 of the 3... >_< So here's a fifth of Jack to hoping I actually post instead of being a registered lurker! OORAH!
