And to think that this is why Rebuild 3.0+4.0 is in limbo...damn you, Toho!
To be honest, it looks like someone shoved Godzilla in a microwave oven for a few seconds then dipped its still-raw body in a vat filled with desiccant, while firmly holding it by the neck. I had always been put off by Godzilla's practically morbidly obese girth (the legs, especially on the later incarnations, look like a case of elephantiasis tropica, TBH), but this new vision gives me the shivers, although for an utterly different reason. The previous Godzillas were monstrous in appearance, but this one is positively freakish.

It looks like Godzilla’s tail has more "personality" than his arms .
Anyway, the trailer looks intense (I’m still in my office, so no sound). Can’t wait to see this EVA-zilla. Bring on your craziness, Anno. If Urobuchi can make a great Kamen Rider show, you (and Higuchi) should be able to make a great Godzilla!
