Finally this aired.

Basically, we got more of Lenka's background story but I feel bad for his family. What a terrible world they live in. It's a shame that his sister suffered too since they seem to be very close as siblings.

Somehow, I feel like the music of this episode improved.

They should do anime based on 1st game storyline... Just saying - I really like this series (Alisa entry episode was f*** awesome) but it's shame that it don't use game story and we will not see Shio in this (she is fun character and kinda strong story related).

Btw. Do we have release date of new GE Resurrection and GE 2 Rage Burst?

Episode 10 is indeed out for grabs and darn. I just like the despair oozing in. I like the siblings love and not the stupid incest that currently plagues the fandumb but family real love.

I was confused. I thought that the remaining episode will be all aired at once but why is episode 10 already out? when will the remaining be out? I remember march 6 or 7 or something.... but not sure.

If Iroha managed to survive she would definitely tap Lenka. Guess in apocalyptic setting Westermarck effect is moot with a lack of people and knowing the brother is not blood related.

And we're back. I like how ufotable turned a 13 episode show into a split cour.

So we get info on Lenka. He was abandoned as a baby and a family who was denied entry into Fenrir picked him up and adopted him. Lenka grew up with them, not knowing that he was adopted. And his onee-chan was cute. Iroha was cute both when young and when grown up. It's a shame she had to die.

While searching for medicine, they get attacked by aragami and Lindow comes to the rescue of Iroha and Lenka.

Lenka got infected by the same disease his mom and those around them were infected by. They did the god eater test on Lenka and he turned positive. The mother said that he has a future now and should live on. Since they aren't related to Lenka by blood, they can't enter Fenrir with him which means that the family would inevitably split. The family then decided to at the very least, let Lenka live on since he can become a god eater and at least protect them, provided they live on and also because Lenka can now be of use to the world unlike them who tested negative.

Lenka went through quite the crap. His family died for his sake and they weren't even his blood relatives. So he is carrying on their wishes by living on and becoming a god eater.

This was all to give reason to Lenka and his "I'll kill aragami" thing. His family died at the hands of the harsh outside aragami filled world. Everything is because of those aragami so neko them.

And Lenka not liking those tested negative to be denied entry into Fenrir gets strength here – if they would allow them to enter Lenka's family wouldn't have died.

Now we will move on to the operation. Lenka got his weapon back again and can now fight. This operation won't be a nice experience for them though.

Whoa...that's one schmell of a first episode after the months long break. I feel terrible for his adopted family. He's not even related to them yet they sacrificed so much for him. I totally didn't expect his sister slitting her own throat just to get him to go. The feels.

Seems like his mother was the only one who had a more "peaceful" death.

Lenka sure is a good kid to still be that sociable after all that he went through...unlike what's her name.

Saw it coming but still felt sadness when Iroha died. Now that Lenka had regained his combat factor there is no other choice: overturn the world even if his own life gets extinguished in the process.

Great return for God Eater, this was easily one of the most powerful episodes of the series.

This is one of those episodes that makes me go back and rewatch all of the previous ones again with a whole new context. Lenka's journey, now realizing what it took for him to get there and how much he lost and what his family sacrificed to get him there. Everything you see about him is now in a whole new light.

I loved the moment between him and Iroha at the end as it was the most emotional and tearjearking, but even the moments with the mom also made me well up. I consider him and Iroha complete brothers and sisters even if it's not by blood. They grew up that way and supported each other even more than some of those who would have been actually blood related. And in Lenka's mind, he never knew otherwise, so she would have always been his sister to him. So for him, he lost the only family that he will ever know.

Lindow was a nicer at that time, it being years ago, but it was nice to see the connection between the two of them before they even met.

For all the good in this episode, I'm glad they postponed the intended outstanding episodes rather than made an abrupt end.

Same thought I had but I just let it slide.

But I suppose if she merely sliced her artery and it didn't touch her windpipe, she could talk without choking on her blood.
