kk2extreme since when does the japanese government have access to nuclear weapons? And the fact that the infection is in every city and country on the planet so it would do no good to nuke a city. You would kill them any survivors and it would be a waste land for decades, meaning less areas you can forage for supplies, rebuild, or live in.
I want to say more but it would spoilers from the manga. So far the series is looking good and on par with the manga, I'm still getting use to the voice actors, some of them I feel could have been cast better. But I saw my waifu Saeko in action so that made up for it. |

Saeko Busojima is made of tits and win. She can lop off my head any day.
Comments later when I finish this patient report and the blog post. Just a brief comment: This was pretty much a 1:1 adaptation so Act 2 = Ep2. Given the length of the succeeding parts I guess from Ep3 onwards won't be 1:1. Quote:

Episode 2 Comments...
Now that the slaughter has past it's time for survival!
A fairly slower but interesting episode. It's interesting to see the initial strength each of character has and how they deal with the walking dead. A real shame the school doctor doesn't really provide any real survival skill in this kind of scenario, yet. I'm fairy sure she's just their for fanservice. I have to agree with the poster some where above, the boob jiggling sound should of been left out it's not like people can really miss or not notice a scene with real estate that large. Spoiler for Fat boy, drills and weapons:

Hmm I dunno the fan service hasn't bothered me so much yet. Having watched Ep2 though, I think the teacher is the most annoying character...
Overall another solid episode. I really love this show already xD Too bad that drill scene got censored out. |

I haven't watched the 2nd episode yet so I can't tell you if it's in there but in the manga when everybody gets together they watch a news broadcast which says that the Infection is wide spread though out the country which means nukes would be next to useless.

The Eye of the Shitstorm
I liked this episode for 4 things: 1. They decided to tone down the fanservice a bit, which means it's actually a bit more in line with the manga. Okay maybe not so much, but they cut down on a lot of the obvious fanservice scenes and integrated them more with the actual scenes to make them less distracting and obstructive. Except Shizuka for obvious reasons. Not like I liked her character anyway. 2. Saeko is made of win and awesome. 3. Meganekko Saya. 4. Most importantly is that this is a bit of a cooldown episode to the chaotic pace of the first one. It really gives the characters a chance to calm down and sort it out, considering Saya's eventual breakdown after having to take out her first Zombie. It helps to put the severity of the event into perspective, not only for the characters, but for the viewers too.

Whoa, I loved her freak our moment. So many tears. Brilliant! It conveyed such horror, with everyone just watching. You never see this action in scary movies where a bunch of good looking people are trapped somewhere facing something dangerous.
It carries the "real" feel of Tokyo 8, perhaps. |

Hirano was bound to be epic because he's voiced by the one and only Noboyuki Hiyama, so i'm please he delivered here in this episode. & i'm sure that's only the beginning.
A salute to the epic male student who protected Shizuka. & Saya is easily the hottest female in the show~

2. While the manga already makes clear the scope of the outbreak, I'll give an example shown in the next episode's preview: You can see Marine One (aka the US president's helicopter) taking off with the White House behind it. Hence the infection is global.
