So I recently started playing some visual novels and found them a lot more fun than I had originally thought they would be, I started with Clannad and Chaos;head

I felt Clannad was a type of one i normally wouldnt play but had such great/deep characters and story I loved it, but i have nothing to compare it to either, so I might have simply underestimated the genre.

Chaos;head was...weird...which is great! I loved that about it, I found myself really wanting to figure out wth was going on or what was or wasn't real. I really liked this one.

Anyways, it is best if there is an english version/patch available as I am poor with written japanese, and only understand a bit over half of spoken so that makes it hard for me to figure out whats going on.

Try Little Busters if you liked Clannad, though it isn't fully patched yet but some route are already translated..

G-Senjou no Maou is already 90% and also one of the popular VN in it's respective year

The popular Fate Stay/Night isn't a bad idea to try if you haven't played that

since you like CLANNAD I would recommend other works by Key: Kanon, AIR, Little Busters, Planetarian

btw, CLANNAD was well above average imho.

it hasn't? my bad... considering CLANNAD has an English translation, I would expect an earlier work to have one too...
