While you can spot differences, it honestly looks very close. Character designs are on point and that’s good enough for me.

Can’t wait for this season. The movies and ovas were fun but a full blown season is something else. Another season of these girls is always a win.

Not too surprising. Although I kind of wish Sentai realized the two OVAs that came out also exist and that they could release those.

Still, good to know that season 3 will get released over here down the road.

What a fantastic start to GochiUsa BLOOM It's great to see the whole cast back, and Encourage seems to be doing a strong job so far with the visuals: it feels just like the specials and the earlier two seasons.

Not having seen the OVAs, it feels like it's been a very long time since I last encountered our girls. This series remains beautiful and cute and fluffy and sweet.

Feels good to be back at Rabbit house. It hasn't changed a bit. I'm surprised summer uniforms were never made, perhaps Chino's mom had planned to make some but sadly passed away before she could.

I was happy all of the regulars got to appear in this episode.

Well it good to see the girls again and there trying to find a new uniform but they did look good in kimonos

That was absolutely perfect. Such a great way to jump back into things. Just felt like we were seamlessly picking right back up where we left off.

Not much to say in a sense. The characters are all great and the focus of getting to summer uniforms was a good way to get everyone in. Rize being awesome and carrying Cocoa+Chino to the store, Syaro's heroics, Chiya's comical side, and Cocoa getting everything fired up.

Heck even a cute scene like Chino getting to play the role of a big sister for a moment. Just really great stuff.

Cocoa has certainly rubbed off on her in a variety of ways. Makes sense she'd also gain an appreciation for being called onee-chan .

when they were shopping for fabric, I remembered the time I shopped for cosplay fabric with friends. Unfortunately, with corona, cosplay events are gone temporarily..

Didn't they do this ED last season? When you try to keep the same concept like this, it will naturally be compared to the previous version.
And, the previous one was definitely better. That, and having pretty much the same thing (but less impressive) makes it that much more meh.

This week, we have a Sharo-centric episode. Of the girls, I've always felt Sharo to get the least screentime, so it was nice to give her some focus and development, too

Yeah, honestly I was thinking something along those lines. This can't begin to compare to the instant-sugar-coma level of cuteness that was Tokimeki Poporon. That said, I doubt any other kind of ending would have escaped either. This series is rather firmly founded on cuteness for cuteness' sake, so any ending would be measured by how cute it is next to that. And this isn't bad by a long shot, it's just the equivalent of a really good high school runner going up against an Olympic-grade sprinter.

Syaro is so poor she doesn't even have a TV? Damn. At least she has great friends, although Cocoa and Chiya can sometimes be too much to handle

The episode was really funny as usual.
